Spiritual science,
Baba Ramdev’s Yogic
Practices & sports
gets correlated when
material approaches
are stuck and one is
required to enter the
sub - and super
-conscious state of the
brain for the sake of
further progress
where only winning
light is their & no
darkness of loose!!!!
After this lecture you will learn about
the terms
science, para-science, & spiritual
science, their relevance in
Baba Ramdev’s Yogic practices and
their role in sport’s spiritual
management
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
7
Like almost all types of
management practices and
theories, spiritual sport’s
management is now gaining
momentum, and more &
more individuals & teams
are realizing the benefits.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
8
This spiritual management
approach in sports reveals how
to handle situations generating
stress on the grounds, allowing
players to instantly recharge not
only physically but mentally
also.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
9
Spiritual management offers
the removal of traditional
congested atmosphere and
provide the players, a sort of
relief.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
10
Through the use of simple
meditation techniques,
individuals will develop a sharp
mind, increasing their capacity
to make accurate decisions and
take care of critical situations.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
11
First of all, you young sport’s people and
me, both have to accept and understand
that “every new generation is more
intelligent than the old one”.
I mean it. With this understanding & belief,
you shall be more efficient & confident in
grasping the new concepts approaching to
you.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
12
So, by means of this present
exercise, we are suggesting
you a better short path-way in
order to learn more and faster,
that makes you successful in
person in the field of games &
sports.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
13
Now the question raised in your mind
must be about the title of the speech
that how para science, spiritual science
are related to sports?
Of-course, a direct relation does not
exists, that “it is not that, without
knowing this you can not understand
or practice sports”!

15
Now, it is a proven fact that if you are
aware of these fundamentals of
correlations amongst science, spiritual
science and sport’s spiritual
management; rest assure that you are
going to be better than any one else in
handling the people & processes which is
the key to success for a good sports
person. We require to analyze, every process from
scientific, Para-scientific, and spiritual
scientific point of view and apply necessary
practices to excel in sport’s field.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
16
Science is a way of knowing the
facts, laws and nature of things
through material experiments. The
experiments are such that, once a
fact is revealed, any one can
perform the same at any time at
any place with required conditions
to get identical result.
What is Science?
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
17
A Revolutionary Approach is
required for ‘Successful sports
Management’ Using Esoteric Laws
(understood by less number of people) to excel in any
sports or games.
This can be understood only by
knowing para scientific and spiritual
approaches of ‘sport’s
management practices’.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
18
What is para science?
• The experimental study performed with
the help of sub-conscious mind which
can not be repeated / reproduced
mechanically as that of the scientific
experiment is known as “Para-scientific”
experiment.
• One individual, who practices for Para-
scientific experiments, only can perform
them. He may not be able to set the
setup for others to perform such
experiments.
• The practices of hypnotism, telepathy,
Rekee, distance healing, plane-chit,
quantum healing, hair therapy, sun-
gazing, resonance effect etc falls under
Para-scientific experiments.
• The Para-scientifically accepted
phenomenon's tell us that every thing
is the game of one’s own mind.
• The "extra-ordinary mode" of
awareness may be developed in men
which provide experience of non-
sensory reality [(ESP) extra sensory
perception] by means of Para-scientific
practices.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
20
One can’t “only” control his “own
mind” but can affect, control, and
instruct other’s mind also;
according to the Para-scientific
experimentation.
What is required for
learning of this is
the correct
attitude……..
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
21
According to para-scientific approach,
the things/ matter looks as we feel/
think about it.
Is it not true that, we do not see
everything around us with open eyes
but see only that which our brain
receives or responds? Does it not
means that eyes are not seeing but
providing means to see only. That
means the function of eye is to see but
controls are elsewhere (i.e. brain).
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
22
The extensions to Para-scientific
experiments or rigorous meditation
practices falls under spiritual
science which is again the job of
individuals.
Here, for one’s experiment, one’s
body is the laboratory and
instrument is the brain.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
23
Increase in spiritual need as death approaches
Why Spirituality is needed and spiritual
science/management practices are required?
Spirituality and religion are often
confused and sometimes used as
inter-changeable words.
They are not.
A religion is a belief system, often
linked with rituals and practices
which may help people to better
spiritual understanding by giving a
framework for their experience.
What is Spiritual Science?
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
25
Spiritual science can be used as a
powerful tool to make the person
perfect in sport’s tasks that
necessarily include/ require
understanding the view of the other
person and work & act accordingly.
This can be understood by knowing
the information flow in our nervous
system or what we call as brain.
Information flow in brain
Central nervous system i.e. BRAIN
Sensory organ receptors Motor organ effectors
External feedback
Internal feedback
Spiritual sport’s management / Baba Ramdev’s yogic
practices helps to make internal as well as external feed back
strong so that high goals can be attained.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
27
• The term spirituality means different
things to different people.
• The term “spirituality” comes from the
Latin word spiritus, meaning vapor,
breath, air or wind. It may be defined as
the desire to find ultimate purpose in
life, and to live accordingly.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
28
• Still, there is no clearly agreed-upon
definition of the term amongst those
who are conducting scientific research
in this field.
• There is increasing evidence that a
major transformation is occurring in
many sports organizations those are
following spiritual approaches.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
29
• Some recent studies have focused on
the relationship between workplace
spirituality and organizational
performance.
• The result shows a dramatic correlation
between an organization’s spirited
culture & its winning probability.
• It is observed that, the more spirited
sport’s organizations outperformed the
others by 400 to 500 percent in every
term.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
30
• The sports organizations which identify
themselves ‘with spirituality’ have
players who:
• 1) Are less fearful of their
organizations;
• 2) Are less likely to compromise their
basic beliefs and values on the ground.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
31
The need for individual spiritual
development has long been recognized
by religion!
It is only during the last 30 years that
psychology has acknowledged the
existence of a spiritual side to the
individual.
The need of stress management
that indicates the need of spiritual management
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
32
Experience of stress has become very
high these days; the causes of which are
many and varied.
Using 'analysis
wheel', one can
take six different
perspectives on
the causes of
stress.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
33
• The analysis wheel can be useful
in both recognizing the causes of
stress and in planning how to
address them.
• Each perspective offers a different
way of explaining the origins of
stress.
• In-tern, we require to speak about
“spiritual management practices”.
Technological development
to extend the capacity of
our basic senses and
effective capacity, to
detect, select and effect (
DSE.)
Physical conical expansion
of consciousness which
comes under external
materialistic development,
that the world has
observed very fast in
recent times.
Improved consciousness
is the need that appears
from spiritual practices!
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
35
• A creative synthesis of all
management concepts, social
issues and spiritual concerns
is really the need of time in
order to improve upon the
sporting capacities and
winning probabilities.
• Thus, sports are required to be
understood something more
than the physical work.

Interaction of human energy fields
Some times, we
feel not to stay with

any known reason!
This is because of

Spirituality is reflected
through values considering
the individual, and is
expressed through human
resources.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
42
After understanding para
science & spiritual science
and utilizing the information
their-in, we require to know
and practice about “applied
spirituality” to be used in
sport’s practices.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
43
The understanding and
practice of “applied
spirituality” would enrich
the sports people in many
ways.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
44
1.We can increase rate of success by
taking greater advantage of the
Science of Live Cycles.
Life and nature is governed by
cycles, and knowing these can help
us discern when to take appropriate
action with the right timing in order
to take advantage of the natural
energies that drive all activities.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
45
2. We can more deeply grasp sports
Management for more deeply
understanding human interactions.
At the core of each of us is a powerful
spiritual being. When people tap into
this power, significant breakthroughs
and accomplishments are possible.
Knowing the character of the spirit give
us a deep understanding & powerful
insights into ourselves and team mats,
we play with.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
46
3. We can achieve greater effectiveness
and efficiency through Time
Management by systematically
Prioritizing our Activities.
Amongst other, the principle of "one
pointed ness" is explored to increase
our efficiency and therefore our
effectiveness at any task we
undertake.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
47
4. We can rapidly recharge the
physical body and the mind.
This is through breathing
exercises so that our
responsibilities can be carried out
with clarity. By keeping our
internal energy strong, one is able
to gain greater clarity and the
ability to sustain high productivity
periods for greater length of time.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
48
5. We can remain lucid and calm
while under stress.
We need to make right decisions
by practicing proven meditation
techniques of ‘Baba Ramdev’ that
dissolve stress so that our own
internal energy and that which we
project is healthier, more positive
and constructive.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
49
6. We can develop stronger
leadership skills.
This will lead our colleagues to
have confidence in our decisions.
The integration of the above
points will boost our leadership
skills and give us an edge over
the rest.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
50
Spiritual Management
Spiritual management in sports
seems to be a new concept though
its roots can be traced from the
time of start of the humanity.
However, in the new world,
spiritual sport’s management gains
a special meaning.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
51
sport’s people who follow the
principles of spiritual sport’s
management feel that they are
something special, and that they
have some special benefits of it.
Spiritual management in sport’s
can create
1. Special culture,
2. Special work-ethics, and,
3. Special interest
of players in their work.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
52
Spiritual management in
sports basically consists of
dealing with the players on
the ‘grounds of humanity’,
rather than the traditional
approach of senior & junior,
black & white or poor & rich
etc.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
53
The spiritual empowerment of
individuals results in
1. strength,
2. confidence,
3. clarity of goals and,
4. dynamism
to handle on-ground situations.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
54
In a team, following spiritual
management practices, players
and coach/managers share a
closer relationship and there are
lesser chances of
misunderstanding etc.
The quality of play, no wonder,
improves and so is the concerned-
ness of the players towards the
common goals of the team.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
55
Concluding Remark
In the conclusion, we may say that,
for a successful sport’s person or
the team, the fundamental
knowledge of science, para-science,
spiritual science, and their practices
to use them in terms of spiritual
sport’s management practice is a
must so that one can achieve the
high goals on their work place.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
56
And, the most important part of
spiritual sport’s management is
“Yogic practices” & “meditation”
through which one learns to
behave calmly on the “humanistic
ground” at every place of work in
any sort of adverse condition and
reaches to the most appropriate
decision in that situation.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
57
And therefore we have said initially
that Spiritual science, Baba
Ramdev’s Yogic Practices &
sports gets correlated when
material approaches are stuck
and one is required to enter the
sub - and super -conscious state
of the brain for the sake of further
progress where only winning light
is their & no darkness of loose!!!!
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
58
Baba Ramdev’s 45 minutes module
After understanding the science, Para-
science, spiritual science and applied
spirituality in the concern of sport’s &
games, and to obtain the benefits
discussed so far; the practices
suggested by the “great yog maharshi”
Baba Ramdev are required to be
followed not only physically but
mentally and spiritually too, to attain
maximum possible efficiency in sports &
games.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
59
The regular practices of “Bhasrika”
(10m), “Kapal-bhati” (15m), “Bahaya
pranayam” (02m), “Anulom-Vilom”
(10m), “Bhramari” (03m), “Udgeet”
(03m), “swash-prashwas” (02m)
along with “micro-exercises” in-
between (if needed) would transform
a ordinary sport’s person to the
spiritual sport’s authority with
immense effectiveness & efficiency.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
60
• With each seven of these “exercises” what is most
important to be seen at different levels are:
1. Physical approach (Macro & micro
body movements including breathing)
2. Mental exercise (observation of
breath with certain specific
intentions)
3. Spiritual approach (concentration on
particular “Chakra” for particular
cause to obtain state of super-
consciousness)
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
61
And, when the appropriate
combination of the three takes place
as per the instructions of “Baba
Ramdev”; the transformation of the
sport’s man can not be stopped and
he/she produces required results with
total peace of mind without becoming
egoistic.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication
62
The orator conveys his gratitude to-wards his
“GURU” Baba Ramdev for his guidance.
Thanks are due to the authorities of Patanjali
Yog Samitee, PUNE for their suggestions to
present this module of work of Baba Ramdev
for the benefit of the humankind around the
world in general and Sport’s personalities in
particular.
JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in
Electronics & Telecommunication

Spiritual management for sports and baba ramdev's yog(63)

  • 1. WELCOMEWELCOME On behalf of “Patanjali Yog Samitee”,On behalf of “Patanjali Yog Samitee”, PUNEPUNE
  • 2. An expert lecture By Dr.A.P.Rao prof.a.p.rao@gmail.com
  • 3. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 3 Spiritual Management for Sports and Baba Ramdev’s Yogic Practices
  • 4. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 4 Dr.A.P.Rao prof.a.p.rao@gmail.com Professor Department of Electronics & Telecommunication JS College of Engineering, Hadapsar, Pune-28 INDIA
  • 5. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 5 Spiritual science, Baba Ramdev’s Yogic Practices & sports gets correlated when material approaches are stuck and one is required to enter the sub - and super -conscious state of the brain for the sake of further progress where only winning light is their & no darkness of loose!!!!
  • 6. After this lecture you will learn about the terms science, para-science, & spiritual science, their relevance in Baba Ramdev’s Yogic practices and their role in sport’s spiritual management
  • 7. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 7 Like almost all types of management practices and theories, spiritual sport’s management is now gaining momentum, and more & more individuals & teams are realizing the benefits.
  • 8. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 8 This spiritual management approach in sports reveals how to handle situations generating stress on the grounds, allowing players to instantly recharge not only physically but mentally also.
  • 9. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 9 Spiritual management offers the removal of traditional congested atmosphere and provide the players, a sort of relief.
  • 10. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 10 Through the use of simple meditation techniques, individuals will develop a sharp mind, increasing their capacity to make accurate decisions and take care of critical situations.
  • 11. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 11 First of all, you young sport’s people and me, both have to accept and understand that “every new generation is more intelligent than the old one”. I mean it. With this understanding & belief, you shall be more efficient & confident in grasping the new concepts approaching to you.
  • 12. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 12 So, by means of this present exercise, we are suggesting you a better short path-way in order to learn more and faster, that makes you successful in person in the field of games & sports.
  • 13. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 13 Now the question raised in your mind must be about the title of the speech that how para science, spiritual science are related to sports? Of-course, a direct relation does not exists, that “it is not that, without knowing this you can not understand or practice sports”!
  • 15. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 15 Now, it is a proven fact that if you are aware of these fundamentals of correlations amongst science, spiritual science and sport’s spiritual management; rest assure that you are going to be better than any one else in handling the people & processes which is the key to success for a good sports person. We require to analyze, every process from scientific, Para-scientific, and spiritual scientific point of view and apply necessary practices to excel in sport’s field.
  • 16. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 16 Science is a way of knowing the facts, laws and nature of things through material experiments. The experiments are such that, once a fact is revealed, any one can perform the same at any time at any place with required conditions to get identical result. What is Science?
  • 17. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 17 A Revolutionary Approach is required for ‘Successful sports Management’ Using Esoteric Laws (understood by less number of people) to excel in any sports or games. This can be understood only by knowing para scientific and spiritual approaches of ‘sport’s management practices’.
  • 18. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 18 What is para science? • The experimental study performed with the help of sub-conscious mind which can not be repeated / reproduced mechanically as that of the scientific experiment is known as “Para-scientific” experiment. • One individual, who practices for Para- scientific experiments, only can perform them. He may not be able to set the setup for others to perform such experiments.
  • 19. • The practices of hypnotism, telepathy, Rekee, distance healing, plane-chit, quantum healing, hair therapy, sun- gazing, resonance effect etc falls under Para-scientific experiments. • The Para-scientifically accepted phenomenon's tell us that every thing is the game of one’s own mind. • The "extra-ordinary mode" of awareness may be developed in men which provide experience of non- sensory reality [(ESP) extra sensory perception] by means of Para-scientific practices.
  • 20. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 20 One can’t “only” control his “own mind” but can affect, control, and instruct other’s mind also; according to the Para-scientific experimentation. What is required for learning of this is the correct attitude……..
  • 21. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 21 According to para-scientific approach, the things/ matter looks as we feel/ think about it. Is it not true that, we do not see everything around us with open eyes but see only that which our brain receives or responds? Does it not means that eyes are not seeing but providing means to see only. That means the function of eye is to see but controls are elsewhere (i.e. brain).
  • 22. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 22 The extensions to Para-scientific experiments or rigorous meditation practices falls under spiritual science which is again the job of individuals. Here, for one’s experiment, one’s body is the laboratory and instrument is the brain.
  • 23. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 23 Increase in spiritual need as death approaches Why Spirituality is needed and spiritual science/management practices are required?
  • 24. Spirituality and religion are often confused and sometimes used as inter-changeable words. They are not. A religion is a belief system, often linked with rituals and practices which may help people to better spiritual understanding by giving a framework for their experience. What is Spiritual Science?
  • 25. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 25 Spiritual science can be used as a powerful tool to make the person perfect in sport’s tasks that necessarily include/ require understanding the view of the other person and work & act accordingly. This can be understood by knowing the information flow in our nervous system or what we call as brain.
  • 26. Information flow in brain Central nervous system i.e. BRAIN Sensory organ receptors Motor organ effectors External feedback Internal feedback Spiritual sport’s management / Baba Ramdev’s yogic practices helps to make internal as well as external feed back strong so that high goals can be attained.
  • 27. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 27 • The term spirituality means different things to different people. • The term “spirituality” comes from the Latin word spiritus, meaning vapor, breath, air or wind. It may be defined as the desire to find ultimate purpose in life, and to live accordingly.
  • 28. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 28 • Still, there is no clearly agreed-upon definition of the term amongst those who are conducting scientific research in this field. • There is increasing evidence that a major transformation is occurring in many sports organizations those are following spiritual approaches.
  • 29. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 29 • Some recent studies have focused on the relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational performance. • The result shows a dramatic correlation between an organization’s spirited culture & its winning probability. • It is observed that, the more spirited sport’s organizations outperformed the others by 400 to 500 percent in every term.
  • 30. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 30 • The sports organizations which identify themselves ‘with spirituality’ have players who: • 1) Are less fearful of their organizations; • 2) Are less likely to compromise their basic beliefs and values on the ground.
  • 31. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 31 The need for individual spiritual development has long been recognized by religion! It is only during the last 30 years that psychology has acknowledged the existence of a spiritual side to the individual. The need of stress management that indicates the need of spiritual management
  • 32. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 32 Experience of stress has become very high these days; the causes of which are many and varied. Using 'analysis wheel', one can take six different perspectives on the causes of stress.
  • 33. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 33 • The analysis wheel can be useful in both recognizing the causes of stress and in planning how to address them. • Each perspective offers a different way of explaining the origins of stress. • In-tern, we require to speak about “spiritual management practices”.
  • 34. Technological development to extend the capacity of our basic senses and effective capacity, to detect, select and effect ( DSE.) Physical conical expansion of consciousness which comes under external materialistic development, that the world has observed very fast in recent times. Improved consciousness is the need that appears from spiritual practices!
  • 35. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 35 • A creative synthesis of all management concepts, social issues and spiritual concerns is really the need of time in order to improve upon the sporting capacities and winning probabilities. • Thus, sports are required to be understood something more than the physical work.
  • 36. Physical layer Etheric layer Emotional layer Astral body Etheric template Celestial body Ketheric template Every sports person is required to understand Seven bodies i.e. Seven layers of energy levels associated with human body
  • 37. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 37 Different levels of consciousness to reach the spiritual level to be used for sports practices
  • 38. Interaction of human energy fields Some times, we feel not to stay with some-one without any known reason! This is because of overlapping and than destructive interference of the energy fields of the two.
  • 39. Destructive interference interference Human energy-field overlapping and mixing randomly/ unevenly to generate destruction or reduction/loss of energy
  • 40. Various layers and Chakras of Spiritual body Muladhar Chakra Or, Pelvic Plexus Swadhishthan Chakra or Hypogestric Plexus Manipur Chakra or Epigastric/Solar Plexus Anahat Chakra or Cardiac Plexus Vishuddhi Charka or Carotid Plexus Aagya Charka or Madula Plexus Sahastradhar Chakra
  • 41. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 41 Spirituality is reflected through values considering the individual, and is expressed through human resources.
  • 42. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 42 After understanding para science & spiritual science and utilizing the information their-in, we require to know and practice about “applied spirituality” to be used in sport’s practices.
  • 43. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 43 The understanding and practice of “applied spirituality” would enrich the sports people in many ways.
  • 44. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 44 1.We can increase rate of success by taking greater advantage of the Science of Live Cycles. Life and nature is governed by cycles, and knowing these can help us discern when to take appropriate action with the right timing in order to take advantage of the natural energies that drive all activities.
  • 45. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 45 2. We can more deeply grasp sports Management for more deeply understanding human interactions. At the core of each of us is a powerful spiritual being. When people tap into this power, significant breakthroughs and accomplishments are possible. Knowing the character of the spirit give us a deep understanding & powerful insights into ourselves and team mats, we play with.
  • 46. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 46 3. We can achieve greater effectiveness and efficiency through Time Management by systematically Prioritizing our Activities. Amongst other, the principle of "one pointed ness" is explored to increase our efficiency and therefore our effectiveness at any task we undertake.
  • 47. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 47 4. We can rapidly recharge the physical body and the mind. This is through breathing exercises so that our responsibilities can be carried out with clarity. By keeping our internal energy strong, one is able to gain greater clarity and the ability to sustain high productivity periods for greater length of time.
  • 48. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 48 5. We can remain lucid and calm while under stress. We need to make right decisions by practicing proven meditation techniques of ‘Baba Ramdev’ that dissolve stress so that our own internal energy and that which we project is healthier, more positive and constructive.
  • 49. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 49 6. We can develop stronger leadership skills. This will lead our colleagues to have confidence in our decisions. The integration of the above points will boost our leadership skills and give us an edge over the rest.
  • 50. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 50 Spiritual Management Spiritual management in sports seems to be a new concept though its roots can be traced from the time of start of the humanity. However, in the new world, spiritual sport’s management gains a special meaning.
  • 51. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 51 sport’s people who follow the principles of spiritual sport’s management feel that they are something special, and that they have some special benefits of it. Spiritual management in sport’s can create 1. Special culture, 2. Special work-ethics, and, 3. Special interest of players in their work.
  • 52. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 52 Spiritual management in sports basically consists of dealing with the players on the ‘grounds of humanity’, rather than the traditional approach of senior & junior, black & white or poor & rich etc.
  • 53. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 53 The spiritual empowerment of individuals results in 1. strength, 2. confidence, 3. clarity of goals and, 4. dynamism to handle on-ground situations.
  • 54. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 54 In a team, following spiritual management practices, players and coach/managers share a closer relationship and there are lesser chances of misunderstanding etc. The quality of play, no wonder, improves and so is the concerned- ness of the players towards the common goals of the team.
  • 55. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 55 Concluding Remark In the conclusion, we may say that, for a successful sport’s person or the team, the fundamental knowledge of science, para-science, spiritual science, and their practices to use them in terms of spiritual sport’s management practice is a must so that one can achieve the high goals on their work place.
  • 56. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 56 And, the most important part of spiritual sport’s management is “Yogic practices” & “meditation” through which one learns to behave calmly on the “humanistic ground” at every place of work in any sort of adverse condition and reaches to the most appropriate decision in that situation.
  • 57. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 57 And therefore we have said initially that Spiritual science, Baba Ramdev’s Yogic Practices & sports gets correlated when material approaches are stuck and one is required to enter the sub - and super -conscious state of the brain for the sake of further progress where only winning light is their & no darkness of loose!!!!
  • 58. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 58 Baba Ramdev’s 45 minutes module After understanding the science, Para- science, spiritual science and applied spirituality in the concern of sport’s & games, and to obtain the benefits discussed so far; the practices suggested by the “great yog maharshi” Baba Ramdev are required to be followed not only physically but mentally and spiritually too, to attain maximum possible efficiency in sports & games.
  • 59. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 59 The regular practices of “Bhasrika” (10m), “Kapal-bhati” (15m), “Bahaya pranayam” (02m), “Anulom-Vilom” (10m), “Bhramari” (03m), “Udgeet” (03m), “swash-prashwas” (02m) along with “micro-exercises” in- between (if needed) would transform a ordinary sport’s person to the spiritual sport’s authority with immense effectiveness & efficiency.
  • 60. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 60 • With each seven of these “exercises” what is most important to be seen at different levels are: 1. Physical approach (Macro & micro body movements including breathing) 2. Mental exercise (observation of breath with certain specific intentions) 3. Spiritual approach (concentration on particular “Chakra” for particular cause to obtain state of super- consciousness)
  • 61. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 61 And, when the appropriate combination of the three takes place as per the instructions of “Baba Ramdev”; the transformation of the sport’s man can not be stopped and he/she produces required results with total peace of mind without becoming egoistic.
  • 62. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 62 The orator conveys his gratitude to-wards his “GURU” Baba Ramdev for his guidance. Thanks are due to the authorities of Patanjali Yog Samitee, PUNE for their suggestions to present this module of work of Baba Ramdev for the benefit of the humankind around the world in general and Sport’s personalities in particular.
  • 63. JSCoE, PUNE Dr.A.P.Rao,Professor in Electronics & Telecommunication 63 IT APPEARS, YOU CAN TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT FROM THE NAUTRE AND STILL YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH AS MUCH. MEANS
