       WHAT IS PEST ?
A pest is any animal or plant which has a harmful effect
on humans, their food or their living conditions.

The great majority of these are types of insect.

DAMAGES AND HARMS CAUSED BY PESTS :

Carry disease-causing micro-organisms and parasites, for example, mosquitoes which carry Ross River
virus
Attack and eat vegetable and cereal crops, for example, caterpillars and grasshoppers
Damage stored food. For example, rats and mice may eat grain in silos, rice or biscuits in shops and homes
and contaminate this food with their faces (droppings))

Attack and eat farm and station animals. For example, feral dogs (dingoes) kill or maim many sheep and
goats each year; foxes will kill poultry, lambs and many species of native wildlife; and feral cats also prey on
native wildlife.

Bite people. For example, bed bugs (so called because they often bite people in their beds) are very difficult
and expensive to control. Their bites can cause great irritation to those bitten and, like mosquito bites, can
become infected if scratched.
Damage clothing. Silverfish, for example, eat holes in clothes.
Damage buildings. For example, termites can cause considerable damage to timber in
buildings.

    WHAT IS PEST CONTROL ?

Pest control is the process of minimizing.or removing a wide range of undesirable

insects and other pests from spaces occupied by people. The actual process of pest

control can take place in the home, in a place of business, or in a public building.

Controlling pests normally involves using some type of insecticide to prevent them

from entering the space and to kill any pests that have already established a
                                 presence within the space

    GENERAL PEST CONTROL (GPC)
                         COCKROACHES

                      1. Cockroaches are insects of the order Blattaria
or Blattodea, of which about 30 species out of
4,500 total are associated with human
habitations. About four species are well
known as pests.[1][2] Among the best-known
pest species are the American cockroach,
Periplaneta americana, which is about 30
millimetres (1.2 in) long, the German
                         cockroach, Blattella germanica, about 15
millimetres (0.59 in) long, the Asian
cockroach, Blattella asahinai, also about 15
millimetres (0.59 in) in length, and the
                         Oriental cockroach.

    1. GEL
TREATMENT Gel treatment is based on the new generation
chemical which is highly effective & eco-friendly
and used for different types of roaches control
with single feeding effect. Once the treatment is
applied, its effect will last up to 2 months or
until the bait is consumed or destroyed. The
application will be directed to the harborages
and in the area where water is not used on
regular basis. It is not volatile, therefore there
                           are not airborne active ingredients

    SPRAY TREATMENT
                      2. SPRAY TREATMENT

We shall carryout spray treatment in
                      personal Kitchen, Bathroom,
                      Drainage's, WC's, Washing area Stores,
Garbage Area and Dinning area for
                      insects like Cockroaches, Ants, Bed
Bugs. Etc. To eradicate this problem we
not only contact direct insects but also
                      locate the nooks, holes, corners,
junctions to destroy the eggs so as to
                      prevent re-infestation for a long
                      duration.

       PREVENTION :

       • Keep the kitchen clean; don't leave food scraps and crumbs lying around; mop up excess water;
keep all food stored away in sealed containers; use garbage cans with a tight lid, and vacuum
          regularly.
        • Screen windows and doors, seal entry points such as cracks and crevices along skirting boards, wall
shelves, cupboards, around pipes, sinks, bathroom fixtures, in between kitchen cabinets, pipes,
doors, and windows with steel wool, cement, putty or silicone caulk. Any water leaks, such as
dripping taps, should also be repaired.
        • Ensure all cupboards and other dark places are thoroughly dry.
        • To repel cockroaches, wipe benches, floors, shelves, cupboards, drawers, bin, etc with a mixture of
100ml water to 10 drops of eucalyptus oil. Wipe straight eucalyptus oil around drain holes and
          external door frames.
        • Place cucumber peelings and/or bay leaves in cupboards where cockroaches are a problem.
          Replace when dried out.

Sealing entry points can help prevent a cockroach from entering the home. Key risks are gaps under doors or around pipes to
the exterior or neighboring properties. Also seal gaps where cockroaches can harbor - cockroaches are nocturnal and hide
during the day in cracks and crevices in the walls, around skirting boards or behind electrical sockets.
 ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES
    2. ANTS, FLIES, LIZARDS & OTHER HOUSEHOLD CRAWLING PESTS

Ants play differing roles throughout the world. There are
many different species of ant, over 20,000, in fact. Some
certainly do play a role in pollination, while others help to
keep other insect populations in check.

As for flies, again there are many different species, some,
like the ants, play a role in pollination, while others are
predators. The maggots (larvae) of some flies feed on fruits
and nuts, while others play a significant role in the
breakdown of dead animal tissue. Some maggots are even
used in medical treatments to clean infected wounds of
                       dead and decaying tissue.

ANZ DISINFESTATION TREATMENT FOR HOUSEHOLD CRAWLING PESTS

DISINFESTATION : destruction of insects, rodents, or other animal
forms present on the person or their clothes or in their
surroundings, and which may transmit disease.
The treatment is carried out by spraying combination of insecticides
(Herbal Insecticide / Chemical Insecticide) in every crack and
crevice of the premises to reach all the hidden parts so as to kill all
                        the existing insects.
In case of red ants, besides liquid spray, an insecticide powder is
                        sprinkled which is highly effective.
Wall lizards, wherever accessible, are sprayed with the liquid
insecticide. They take more than an hour to die.
Disinfections spray and chemicals used are odorless and
                        harmless, safer and most efficient.
Can be applied during working hours without any disturbance.
Treatment applied in all rooms and also in the breeding sources
                        nearby to the premises.

    3. MOSQUITOES

                    MOSQUITOES:

There are approximately 2, 700 species
of mosquito in the world; the three most
                    significant genera are the Aedes,
Anopheles, and Culex, as these types of
                    mosquitoes are responsible for
                    transmitting various diseases that are
                    hazardous to mankind.

      PREVENTION METHODS TO CONTROL MOSQUITOES

Remove their habitat (where they live and breed)
Eliminate standing water in rain gutters, old tires, buckets, plastic covers, toys, or any other
             container where mosquitoes can breed.
Empty and change the water in bird baths, fountains, wading pools, rain barrels, and potted
plant trays at least once a week to destroy potential mosquito habitats.
Drain or fill temporary pools of water with dirt.
Keep swimming pool water treated and circulating.

    Prevent your exposure to mosquitoes
Use EPA-registered mosquito repellents when necessary and follow label directions and
              precautions closely.
Use head nets, long sleeves and long pants if you venture into areas with high mosquito
              populations, such as salt marshes.
If there is a mosquito-borne disease warning in effect, stay inside during the evening when
              mosquitoes are active.
Make sure window and door screens are "bug tight."
Replace your outdoor lights with yellow "bug" lights which tend to attract less mosquitoes than
ordinary lights. The yellow lights are NOT repellents

    4. RODENT [MOUSE AND RATS]

Some rodents are destructive pests that
                        can spread disease, contaminate food
and destroy property. They vary in color
and size by species. The most common
rodents that live in close proximity to
humans are norway rats, roof rats, house

    1. Eliminate Food Sources
    Remove defective refuse cans.
Provide a sufficient amount of refuse cans. A 32 gallon container with a tight fitting lit is best.
DO NOT LITTER. Be sure garbage in secure in container and not on the ground.
Drain and wrap garbage before disposing.
Remove pet food immediately and clean up animal waste.

    2. Eliminate Water
Keep all drains covered and secure.
Make sure hoses are not leaking.
Get rid of any standing water in yard.
Fix any defective pipes or drains.

    3. Eliminate Rodent Hiding Places
Get rid of junk, lumber, old boxes, discarded appliances chairs or bedding on the ground or under
    porches.

    5. BED BUGS

Bed Bugs, known scientifically as Cimex lectularius (Cimicidae) are
small wingless insects that feed by hematophagy - exclusively on the
blood of warm blooded-animals. As we are warm-blooded animals we
                  are ideal hosts for them.
They are called bed bugs because of their preferred habitat in human
homes: sofas, bed mattresses and other soft furnishings.
The common bed bug, (Cimex lectularius) has adapted well to human
environments. It is generally found in temperate climates. Cimex
hemiterus is more common in tropical regions, and has mainly poultry
and bats as its host. Leptocimex boueti, found mainly in South America
and West Africa feeds chiefly on humans and bats. Haematosiphon
inodora, of North America, feeds primarily on poultry.

    6. WOOD BORER

Wood borers are tiny beetles whose larvae
feed extensively on wood. The adults make
tiny pinhead size holes on the wooden
surface before flying out. The brass or
powder then begins to fall out from these
tiny holes. This is the first sign of
                    infestation in the furniture.

    WOOD BORER TREATMENT

                   Control Measures

As a treatment wood preservative chemicals are
required to be injected into these tiny exit holes with
the help of syringe and larvae is targeted as only
larvae is responsible for the damage to the wood.

The wood surface is also applied with residual
pesticides chemicals having petroleum base. These
residual pesticides will stop the current infestation as
well as protect against new invaders if they find their
                   way to your precious

    7. TERMITES

Termites are often called the “silent destroyer” because they may be
secretly hiding and thriving in your basement or yard without any
immediate signs of damage. While each termite species thrives in
different climates and eats different types of food, all termites require
four things to survive — food, moisture, shelter and optimal
temperature. Unfortunately, all homes, regardless of their
construction type, can provide these ideal conditions for termite
                  infestation.
Termites are detrivores, or detritus feeders. They feed on dead plants
and trees as well as dead parts of living trees, including wood and
wood in the soil. A termite’s mouth is capable of tearing large pieces
of food. This ability is what causes concern in human dwellings:
while termites only measure approximately one centimeter in length,
their feeding habits are capable of causing costly damage to
property. House foundations, furniture, shelves, books, carpets and
insulation are all possible feeding sites for termites .

                    Post Construction
In the post-construction anti-termite treatment, chemical
is injected into the ground by means of holes made at the
junctions of walls and floors at 2 feet distances apart of
the ground floor. Then these holes are sealed.

Further, on all floors, wood work like doors and windows,
which are highly susceptible to termite attack are also
protected by treatment. Spot treatment of spraying on
infested areas in the walls and ceiling is also carried out .

    PRE CONSTRUCTION TERMITE TREATMENT

Direct liquid treatments are applied to the outside,
inside and also in the foundation to eliminate the
termites completely. Direct injection of liquid pesticide
(termiticide) in areas like the foundation, within the
foundation walls and also areas under the concrete
slabs is part of our specialized termite control treatment
                    plan.

Pre-construction anti-termite soil treatment consists of
charging soil around the building and beneath floor
with powerful soil toxicants so as to create a chemical
                    barrier.

  • 7. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES DAMAGES AND HARMS CAUSED BY PESTS : Carry disease-causing micro-organisms and parasites, for example, mosquitoes which carry Ross River virus Attack and eat vegetable and cereal crops, for example, caterpillars and grasshoppers Damage stored food. For example, rats and mice may eat grain in silos, rice or biscuits in shops and homes and contaminate this food with their faces (droppings)) Attack and eat farm and station animals. For example, feral dogs (dingoes) kill or maim many sheep and goats each year; foxes will kill poultry, lambs and many species of native wildlife; and feral cats also prey on native wildlife. Bite people. For example, bed bugs (so called because they often bite people in their beds) are very difficult and expensive to control. Their bites can cause great irritation to those bitten and, like mosquito bites, can become infected if scratched. Damage clothing. Silverfish, for example, eat holes in clothes. Damage buildings. For example, termites can cause considerable damage to timber in buildings.
  • 8. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES WHAT IS PEST CONTROL ? Pest control is the process of minimizing.or removing a wide range of undesirable insects and other pests from spaces occupied by people. The actual process of pest control can take place in the home, in a place of business, or in a public building. Controlling pests normally involves using some type of insecticide to prevent them from entering the space and to kill any pests that have already established a presence within the space

SPRAY TREATMENT We shall carryout spray treatment in personal Kitchen, Bathroom, Drainage's, WC's, Washing area Stores, Garbage Area and Dinning area for insects like Cockroaches, Ants, Bed Bugs. Etc. To eradicate this problem we not only contact direct insects but also locate the nooks, holes, corners, junctions to destroy the eggs so as to prevent re-infestation for a long duration.
  • 15. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES PREVENTION : • Keep the kitchen clean; don't leave food scraps and crumbs lying around; mop up excess water; keep all food stored away in sealed containers; use garbage cans with a tight lid, and vacuum regularly. • Screen windows and doors, seal entry points such as cracks and crevices along skirting boards, wall shelves, cupboards, around pipes, sinks, bathroom fixtures, in between kitchen cabinets, pipes, doors, and windows with steel wool, cement, putty or silicone caulk. Any water leaks, such as dripping taps, should also be repaired. • Ensure all cupboards and other dark places are thoroughly dry. • To repel cockroaches, wipe benches, floors, shelves, cupboards, drawers, bin, etc with a mixture of 100ml water to 10 drops of eucalyptus oil. Wipe straight eucalyptus oil around drain holes and external door frames. • Place cucumber peelings and/or bay leaves in cupboards where cockroaches are a problem. Replace when dried out. Sealing entry points can help prevent a cockroach from entering the home. Key risks are gaps under doors or around pipes to the exterior or neighboring properties. Also seal gaps where cockroaches can harbor - cockroaches are nocturnal and hide during the day in cracks and crevices in the walls, around skirting boards or behind electrical sockets.
  • 16. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES 2. ANTS, FLIES, LIZARDS & OTHER HOUSEHOLD CRAWLING PESTS Ants play differing roles throughout the world. There are many different species of ant, over 20,000, in fact. Some certainly do play a role in pollination, while others help to keep other insect populations in check. As for flies, again there are many different species, some, like the ants, play a role in pollination, while others are predators. The maggots (larvae) of some flies feed on fruits and nuts, while others play a significant role in the breakdown of dead animal tissue. Some maggots are even used in medical treatments to clean infected wounds of dead and decaying tissue.
  • 17. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES ANZ DISINFESTATION TREATMENT FOR HOUSEHOLD CRAWLING PESTS DISINFESTATION : destruction of insects, rodents, or other animal forms present on the person or their clothes or in their surroundings, and which may transmit disease. The treatment is carried out by spraying combination of insecticides (Herbal Insecticide / Chemical Insecticide) in every crack and crevice of the premises to reach all the hidden parts so as to kill all the existing insects. In case of red ants, besides liquid spray, an insecticide powder is sprinkled which is highly effective. Wall lizards, wherever accessible, are sprayed with the liquid insecticide. They take more than an hour to die. Disinfections spray and chemicals used are odorless and harmless, safer and most efficient. Can be applied during working hours without any disturbance. Treatment applied in all rooms and also in the breeding sources nearby to the premises.
  • 18. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES 3. MOSQUITOES MOSQUITOES: There are approximately 2, 700 species of mosquito in the world; the three most significant genera are the Aedes, Anopheles, and Culex, as these types of mosquitoes are responsible for transmitting various diseases that are hazardous to mankind.
  • 19. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES THE FOUR MOST SIGNIFICANT MOSQUITOE GENERE ARE THE AIDES ANOPHELES ANSONIA AND CULLER
  • 20. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES ANZ IPM TECHNIQUES & PREVENTION TO CONTROL MOSQUITOES  MOSQUITOES SPRAY TREATMENT : Applying pesticides Cleaning outdoor garbage areas to remove debris Cleaning food particles and grease from kitchen appliances (toasters, ovens, microwaves, ovens, stoves, and refrigerators) Storing food products in plastic snap-lid containers or kept in the refrigerator Vacuuming and sweeping floors and furniture regularly, especially around eating areas such as kitchens and living rooms Cleaning food storage areas and shelves regularly, where pests may be harboring Sealing gaps around plumbing, wall outlets and switch plates to prevent pests from migrating from infested units to others Screening windows and doors Caulking cracks and gaps in and around the property to keep pests from invading from outdoors Running water frequently in spare bathrooms, utility tubs and toilets to keep pests from entering through dry drainage areas Scanning grocery items, produce and other packaged food products, which may have been stored in infested locations prior to being purchased, before bringing them indoors or storing them
  • 21. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES PREVENTION METHODS TO CONTROL MOSQUITOES Remove their habitat (where they live and breed) Eliminate standing water in rain gutters, old tires, buckets, plastic covers, toys, or any other container where mosquitoes can breed. Empty and change the water in bird baths, fountains, wading pools, rain barrels, and potted plant trays at least once a week to destroy potential mosquito habitats. Drain or fill temporary pools of water with dirt. Keep swimming pool water treated and circulating. Prevent your exposure to mosquitoes Use EPA-registered mosquito repellents when necessary and follow label directions and precautions closely. Use head nets, long sleeves and long pants if you venture into areas with high mosquito populations, such as salt marshes. If there is a mosquito-borne disease warning in effect, stay inside during the evening when mosquitoes are active. Make sure window and door screens are "bug tight." Replace your outdoor lights with yellow "bug" lights which tend to attract less mosquitoes than ordinary lights. The yellow lights are NOT repellents
  • 22. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES 4. RODENT [MOUSE AND RATS] Some rodents are destructive pests that can spread disease, contaminate food and destroy property. They vary in color and size by species. • 26. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES 5. BED BUGS Bed Bugs, known scientifically as Cimex lectularius (Cimicidae) are small wingless insects that feed by hematophagy - exclusively on the blood of warm blooded-animals. As we are warm-blooded animals we are ideal hosts for them. They are called bed bugs because of their preferred habitat in human homes: sofas, bed mattresses and other soft furnishings. The common bed bug, (Cimex lectularius) has adapted well to human environments. It is generally found in temperate climates. Cimex hemiterus is more common in tropical regions, and has mainly poultry and bats as its host. Leptocimex boueti, found mainly in South America and West Africa feeds chiefly on humans and bats. Haematosiphon inodora, of North America, feeds primarily on poultry.

  • 28. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES 6. WOOD BORER Wood borers are tiny beetles whose larvae feed extensively on wood. The adults make tiny pinhead size holes on the wooden surface before flying out. The brass or powder then begins to fall out from these tiny holes. This is the first sign of infestation in the furniture.
  • 29. ANZ PEST CONTROL SERVICES WOOD BORER TREATMENT Control Measures As a treatment wood preservative chemicals are required to be injected into these tiny exit holes with the help of syringe and larvae is targeted as only larvae is responsible for the damage to the wood. TERMITES Termites are often called the “silent destroyer” because they may be secretly hiding and thriving in your basement or yard without any immediate signs of damage. While each termite species thrives in different climates and eats different types of food, all termites require four things to survive — food, moisture, shelter and optimal temperature. Unfortunately, all homes, regardless of their construction type, can provide these ideal conditions for termite infestation. Termites are detrivores, or detritus feeders. They feed on dead plants and trees as well as dead parts of living trees, including wood and wood in the soil. A termite’s mouth is capable of tearing large pieces of food. This ability is what causes concern in human dwellings: while termites only measure approximately one centimeter in length, their feeding habits are capable of causing costly damage to property. House foundations, furniture, shelves, books, carpets and insulation are all possible feeding sites for termites .
