Use your current email address, enter a
password.

11. Calendar Invitations
•Invite guests to your event
•Google Calendar lets you create invitations for special
events, send those invitations to friends, and keep track
of responses and comments all in one place.
•To invite someone to your event, just follow these
steps:
•Click on the event (or create a new event) and select
"edit event details."
•In the "Guests" section, click on "Add Guests."
•Enter the email addresses of the guests, separated by
commas.
•Select the appropriate level of control for your guests.
•Click "Save."
•If you'd like to notify your guests of the event, click
"Send"; if not, click "Don't Send."
12. Create an Event
To create an event (Meeting, Lecture, Outing, Weeding) click on create

screen remember to click Save!
Name the event
Enter in the date and time of the event
Select how often you want the event to be.
Add a brief description about the event

15. Event Planning/Publishing
• Share events with an individual, group, or whole
world
• Include events in Public Event Search
• Display a calendar on your site
• Let people save individual event from your site
• Let people save all your events from your site
16. Customizing your calendar:
• Set preferred language, country, time zone, date format, time
format
• Display weather information in either Celsius or Fahrenheit copy
events from another calendar (e.g., Microsoft Outlook) by
exporting the other calendar to a file and then importing that file
into Google Calendar.
• share your Calendar with other colleagues and give them the right
to add, delete and share events.
• create a public Calendar and publish it on a Web site or just send
its Web address to people who would like to keep up-to-date.
17. Calendar Sharing
Privacy Settings for Individual Events
Default: event's privacy setting will mimic the calendar's privacy setting
The following two options allow you to control the visibility of specific events on public,
private, and shared calendars:
Private: For public or shared calendars, select this option to make sure only you and other
calendar owners (those with "Make changes to events" privileges and higher) can see the
event and its details.
Public: This option will make the event's details available to those with free/busy access to
your calendar. If you're sharing your calendar's free/busy information with a specific person
or with the world, this setting will enable them to view all of the details for the specific event.
Note: If you've imported your events from another program or calendar, they'll
automatically be marked as either "Public" or "Private" depending on the privacy settings of
the source calendar.
20. Mobile Setup
When you synchronize your phone with your
calendar it helps you to receive sms notifications
about the events you are invited to
Reminders about events that are due.
SMS notification is free of charge and compatible to
any type of phone.
NB. This service is not limited to smart phones only.

• Click settings
• Select Mobile setup
• Enter in your phone number
• Click send verification code.
• The code shall be sent to your phone
• Enter the Code and
• Click Finish setup
• Finally save.

23. Gmail/MUBS mail Integration
Gmail/MUBS M now recognizes when messages
mention events, and you can add those events to
your calendar with just a couple clicks.
