Brief Overview of the role:
As a Sr. Business DevelopmentExecutive – Corporate New Business,you will be responsible for consultativelyselling our
web-based strategic planning tools & custom research solutions to new corporations based in India across different
consumer & B2B industries.You should be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of selling in
the business-to-business arena and have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right
contact and sell the benefits of our products. As this role involves selling global solutions to large Indian multinational
companies,you will be skilled in networking within a target companyand bringing together the needs ofcustomer personnel
into collective service solutions. This represents a significantopportunityfor someone looking for a diverse and in-depth
sales role,targeting senior managementin customer organisations.
Key responsibilities
To identify new prospects, to create new business within designated sales territory, including:
· Cold calling and makinginitial contacts and introductions to Euromonitor and our web-basedstrategic planning tool and
custom research capabilities
· Manage the entire sales process involved with selling web-based planning tools and custom research solutions to new
clients (e.g. prospecting, territory management, meeting scheduling, product demonstrations, multi -stakeholder
business case development, objection handling, contract negotiation, etc.).
· Demonstrate effectiveness by consistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets.
· Making face-to-face pitches to key personnel at customer locations in India
· Take ownership ofperformance and personal developmentby attaching to goals,identifying obstacles and developing
strategies to overcome them.
· Increase productivity by actively leveraging Euromonitor's training programs, supportive managers and diverse set of
smart and interesting colleagues.
· Foster collaboration and trustwithin and between functions,across the full syndicated & consulting research teams
Skills/Proficiencies required:
· Between 4 to 6 years of proven experience of directly relevant B2B consultative sales experience
· Strong communication and diplomacy skills
· Self-motivated and organised
· Proven success in client management and consistently achieving revenue goals
· Goal-oriented, creative and self-motivated; excellent time management skills
· Excellent negotiation skills
· Language skills: Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in Hindi and regional dialects are advantageous.
