2.  SAP Business Objects is a Business
intelligence stage, equipped for

 SAP BO gives reporting,

Peoplesoft and so forth. SAP BO

independent organization and
procured by SAP in 2007 to power

is known as SAP Business Objects

 SAP BO gives different
presentation layer instruments in
SAP Business Portfolio to deliver

4. SAP BOE is multi-tier architecture, consists
of five tiers as:
 Client tier in SAP BO is the main level that
comprise provisions which interface with
end client for organization, distributed
and survey of reports and different
articles. E.g. Requisitions like Info View,
Central Management Console (CMC),
Central Configuration Management (CCM),
Publishing Wizard and so on.
 Application tier is the tier that has server
side parts to handle client demands from
Client tier and go to Intelligence tier of
underlying framework for transforming.
Application tier parts are made out of
Application server and Business Objects
Enterprise SDK, Web Component Adapter
(WCA).

5.  Intelligence tier is heart of Business Objects
Enterprise system. It handles user requests,
navigates them to appropriate server, maintain
security information, audit information and
stores report instances. BOE intelligence layer is
composed of Central Management Server (CMS),
Cache Server, File Repository Servers and Event
Server.
 Processing tier interacts directly with database
and generates reports. Processing layer is
composed of Report Job Server, Program Job
Server, Web Intelligence Job Server, Web
Intelligence Report Server, Report Application
Server (RAS), Destination Job Server and Page
Server.
 Data tier is made up of databases that feed data
used for reports.
 These layers form the foundation for the SAP
Business Objects as well as effective SAP Support
Services.
