Peter Lindbergh- Portrait
Peter Lindbergh is a German photographer and director, who is famously known
for his portrait contemporary photography. He enrolled into the Berlin Academy
of Fine Arts in the 1960s and was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s work of fine
art. Lindbergh also spent time in Spain and North Africa hitchhiking, which gave
him a broader perspective and environment. Only after moving to Dusseldorf did
he pay close attention to his passion of photography, as he worked alongside
German photographer Hans Luxx. His aim was to redefine beauty with timeless
images. His humble humanist approach differentiated him from other
photographers, as well as his French theme to his photos. Lindbergh is successful
in creating layers of beauty within the images he takes, which are specifically
women more than anything. His models do pose and don’t have any spontaneous
act to them, however he captures the true beauty of imperfect women. Portraits
usually solemnly focus on the face and body as focal points, which Lindbergh
does successfully.

Kevin Corrado
Kevin Corrado is a surrealist photographer, which are ones that focus on a
deeper meaning or feeling that might come from the subconscious or dreams.
There is a type of fantasy or disbelief to surrealism photography. Kevin Corrado
is successful at doing this through his manipulations of photographs. His work is
commonly known as peaceful and quiet, with in depth meanings of another
message. Kevin Corrado was a fine art student and then took an interest into
graphic design, which ultimately lead to his portfolio of Surrealism photography.

War photography- Phillip Jones Griffiths
War photography mainly emphasises on the problems and traumas that people
are facing in a war effected country. Usually the photographs are taken
spontaneously and precisely in the moment, which shows no falseness too them
or pose. Phillip Jones Griffiths is successfully under the war photography
category because he has taken real moments of real people who have been
affected by war. He is a welsh photojournalist who is famously known for his
collage of the Vietnam War. The fact that he was a Photojournalist gives him the
knowledge of the events as well as the visual representations. The main purpose
of war photography is to capture personal moments of individuals who have
been affected by war in one way or the other.
