2. How it all began…
• M.A.R.R.S. formed in 1987 in London.
• It was an amalgamation of A.R. Kane and
Colourbox. They also had additional in put from
‘CJ’ Macintosh and Dave Dorrel.
• There name came from a rather clever Acronym
of there forenames;
• Martyn Young (from Colourbox), Alex Ayuli and
Rudy Tambala (from A.R. Kane), Russell Smith (an
associate A.R. Kane member and founder of
Terminal Cheesecake), and Steve Young (from
Colourbox).
3. How the magic happened…
• At first it did not go well as the groups’ differing
styles meant they could not agree on a certain
style for there new songs.
• But eventually after some squabbles they were
able to come up with one disc release;
• ‘Pump Up The Volume’ and a B side ‘Anitina’
• In September of the same year of release and
creation of the group they announced they would
not be releasing any more Albums.
