3. What?
In an economic environment increasingly dynamic and full of new business
initiatives, is basilar for a startupper to translate ideas into a structured plan, but
that’s not so easy to realize without a professional advice.
No matter if you just want to start a business in your garage or a little craft shop.
StartApp lets you create your personal business plan for small commerce.
Why?
This application will be developed as an easily understood tool by all those users
which wants to approach the business world with their ideas, but don't have the
technical means to build a complete business plan.
How?
4. Business Proposition
Our idea will be developed as a mobile application for tablet devices,
exploiting the simple usability and the large diffusion of the App Store and
Google Play Store.
The intuitive wireframe and the tactile interface will be the plus of this
product.
The user experience will be focused on a playful framework that makes
sure that the app is perceived as very friendly by any kind of user, from
professionals to dummies.
The revenue model will be based on advertising revenues for the free
version and download revenues coming from the downloads of the “ad-
free version” app and from the "in app" add on modules downloads.Download

9. To give a complete
description of your project,
you will start to input some
information about your
business idea.
StartApp will guide you
with some input fields
where you can give a simple
description of your team
(WHO), write a short
abstract of your project
(WHAT), explain what is the
meaning of your business
idea (WHY), etc.
Business description
10. After a qualitative
description of the
business idea, the app
experience continues
with an intuitive “wonder
wheel” that allows you to
scroll the macro
categories of commerce
and choose the referral
category of your startup.
Let’s try with FOOD!
The Wonder Wheel
11. From the selection in
the first wonder wheel
you will land in a sub
category wheel, that
helps you to choose
your business niche.
For example you can
try to plan the opening
of a bakery shop.
Select sub-categories
12. In each business
category you will find a
list of sample products.
You can choose some of
them or add new
products.
After that, the products
that you have chosen
will be collected in the
project database.
Then you will be able to
input the products
direct costs to define
the first block of your
economic plan.
Product mix
13. Every product that you
have chosen must be
edited entering in the
specific fields the
description
(MATERIALS), the
quantity needed for the
single product (QT), the
measure unit used
(M/U) and the unit price
(U/P).
Those informations will
converge to the
economic database and
will be used to define
the direct costs amount.
Product editor
14. When the data entry
process is complete
(direct and indirect
costs, capex, revenue
model), your project is
ready to be
transformed into a
smart presentation.
You can choose your
favorite template from
a lot of preset models.
Then the app will melt
all the data previously
entered and you will be
able to generate your
presentation.
Template selection
15. At the end of the
process you could
choose if save your
work for future
amendments or export
your project as a pdf
file, ready to be used as
a professional
presentation for your
stakeholders.
