2.  All across the country Arab American
students and employees are being
jeopardize from opportunities that all
whites and other colored skin people get.
This is not fair to all of the Arab Americans
who just as qualified.
 This PowerPoint will demonstrated some
incidents that Arab Americans go through
on a daily basis.

3.  Allen Verbrugge stated that a
Muslim girl was denied to take
an AP Course in High school.
› This incident made her feel
offended because the
teacher was discriminating
her by her race.
 Another teacher told a student
"Your people are enemies to the
United States.“
 Things like the example above
should not be portrayed in
schools. The schools should be
a safe place for all students
not matter what race.

4.  After the 9/11 attacks there was a young
Arab lady walking home from high school
and a car pulled up alongside her and the
man ripped her hijab off and blew his
nose and threw it back at her. (Richard

 This is a major insult to the Muslim beliefs.
This is not an acceptable action for any one
to do.
 Action like these are what shape the United
States.

5.  During this recession the Arab Americans
are being denied employment.
 Not only are they denied but those who
are at work feel uncomfortable

6.  Research shows a huge
decrease in Arab Americans
earnings.
› The major decrease was
only after 9/11.
› But this is an immediate
reaction to national political
events.

7.  After 9/11 Arab American high school students have
suffered immensely because of the actions from their
teachers and students. From not being accepted into
a AP course to insulting the Islam religion hurts the
American identity. Small events like these are what the
world sees America as.
 The Arab American employees are uncomfortable in
the workplace because of racial discrimination and the
racial profiling their co-workers look at them by. Once
the twin towers went down the minds of non-Arab
Americans started to immediately suspect the Arabs
Americans. This is horrible notion of racial profiling and
racial discrimination should be banned from the
American society.
