Our Process
1. CLIENT/PROJECT INTRODUCTION
With every new client or new project for an
existing client we take time to stop and gather
the details and critical information needed to
ensure excellent customer service.
3. CREATIVE PROCESS
At the heart of each project is an
opportunity to improve or create a new
piece of design that visually expresses
an important message for our client.
This is an opportunity for MKJ to satisfy
our customer on a deep level.
Present New Creative
Using the insight gathered in steps 1 and 2,
MKJ produces bold work that fulfills on the
client’s expectation. The process of seeing
new creative for the first time is exciting.
We minimize anxiety by listening well in
prior steps and providing a clear framework
for revision.
Integrate Client Feedback
With each project, no matter how well
the initial layout nails the design objective,
new thoughts and ideas will come up
just from seeing the completed layout.
We work with our clients to integrate their
feedback. Sometimes this process requires
three rounds of iteration to ensure
client satisfaction.
4. PROJECT COMPLETION
All is going well. We are done with the
creative piece and all are happy. But MKJ
Creative still has work to do. We make
sure that when the piece is released to
the printer or the programmer, the I’s are
dotted and the T’s are crossed. It is in this
stage that our technical expertise shines.
We do not rest until our client’s work is
ready for the press or page.
5. PROJECT DEBRIEF
Depending on the size of the project,
this can be an email, a brief call or a
full meeting. As part of our ongoing
commitment to authenticate customer
satisfaction, we explore what we did that
we should stop doing, what we did that
we should continue doing and why. This
conversation is what allows us to return
to step 1 with confidence.
2. PROJECT DISCOVERY
Each project has unique needs and unique
expectations from the client. Each project
has nuances to the scope that must be
understood. In the project discovery stage,
the client and MKJ partner to discuss these
needs and expectations to avoid confusion.
