3. They are like a symbol of your company or who you
are. It allows people to instantly know what
company you are with. If you send me an email as:
jipsy@hotmail.com, does that look or even sound
professional. Okay, so you are just starting out. I
can understand that and so can others. But what if
your company has now been in existence for 10 or
more years. You can buy a special domain as little
as $1.00 a year. You can still host your website as:
jipsy.mable.com and have your special domain
show that site when it is typed in.
.com
4. Interruption:
Host – the site that where your website is held
.com
Then you can send out emails to clients and
prospects with your special domain by purchasing
an email account for the name. Some domains
come with a free email. Now your clients and
prospects will take you more seriously and know
that you are not scamming them. This is very
important today in the technology world. Plus,
think of all the free advertising anytime someone
forwards information with your email address to it
or your website in your signature.
5. Personally, unless I receive a phone call from a client
letting me know they are serious with an off the wall
email, I delete all propositions for business matters.
My personal recommendations:
Email and Domain: Godaddy
