6. Google Panda Update for January
2013!
Google Panda is a change to the Google's search results
ranking algorithm that was first released in February
2011. The change aimed to lower the rank of "low-quality
sites" and return higher-quality sites near the top of the
search results.
This would make the 24th renew or refresh to the Panda
update since releasing in Feb 2011. This update has a
recognizable effect of 1.2% of English issues. The
previous once, edition 23 on the holidays had an effect of
about 1.3%.
Honestly, the forums are not that loud about this
modification. The Jan 17th modify, which Search engines
said was nothing, seemed like a much larger Search
update than this 1.2% Panda renew they declared last
night.
7. What is Google Penguin?
Google Penguin is a code name for a Google algorithm
update that was first announced on April 24, 2012. The
update is aimed at decreasing search engine rankings of
websites that violate Google’s Webmaster Guidelines by
using black-hat SEO techniques such as keyword stuffing,
cloaking, participating in link schemes, deliberate creation
of duplicate content,and others.
8. What Is a Bounce Rate?
A bounce occurs when a user visits a website and exits the
page from which they came without having moved to
another page on the same website.
A higher bounce rate means users leave your website without
viewing any additional pages. A lower bounce rate means
users stay on your website and have moved to a different
page within your website.
9. What is Backlink?
Backlinks, also known as inbound links, inword links and
inlinks are incoming links to a website or web page.
Basically a back link is a link from another site link back to
your own website. When another website link like this
(Online Blogging), to your website it counts as a backlink.
Why Backlink?
If you have a website without backlinks, it won’t be receiving
free search engine traffic. The more backlink to your
website is created on another webpage, you get more
search engines traffic from Google, bing etc.
