 The Lost City of Atlantis is a mystery because people
don’t know if it was a city that has ever existed or
whether it sunk in the Aegean Sea.

3. Is there any proof of Atlantis?
 There are no real pictures, just computer animated and
paintings.
 Some archeologists were looking for the city of
Atlantis and say they found it off the coast of Spain.
Others say they found the city off the coast of Africa.

4. Thoughts
 People think the rumor of Atlantis started when a
Greek person named Solon had a journey to Egypt.
The Pharaoh told Solon a story about a city that sunk
in the Atlantic Ocean called Atlantis.
 I think Atlantis is real but is an island still around
today that has not sunk and is known by another
name.

 The story of Atlantis started by a man named Plato.
Plato wrote a book about a city that sunk in the
Atlantic Ocean. People think the city was Atlantis.
