2. Do you believe in
miracles?
I most certainly do and one of my favorite
ones happens every year
at Christmas time.
3. Let me tell you
about Santa Claus
and his elves.
So let me tell you the story about the place where
miracles happen… the story about the man who on
Christmas is working very hard to give joy to the
people all around the World and to put a smile on
every child´s face.
4. The Miracle of Santa Claus
It seems incredible how Santa and his elves manage
to get each one of us the presents we desire most.
Part of it is an actual miracle. Yet, part of it are
Santa´s managerial skills and the hard work from the
side of the elves.
Allow me to give you a glimpse into Santa´s
Workshop so you can see for yourself how miracles
are made.
5. Santa´s Workshop
If you were expecting to see some old fashioned
workshop, you were mistaken. Although, Santa is a
very old man, he is also a very wise one.
Technology is not a stranger to him and he firmly
believes that if there are ways how to ease work,
we should use them.
Also, Santa is not oblivious to the fact that the
children of nowadays prefer other means of
contact, like email, Facebook, Twitter and Chat to
the traditional paper letters .
6. The elves manage their work with the Unified
Elves Desktop, a specially designed software.
The Unified Elves Desktop allows elves to easily
handle wishes from all types of communication
channels, be it a normal letter, email, chat, social
media or Santa´s Mobile Application.
This invention simplifies the work of the elves
vastly. They don´t have to juggle with big loads of
letters in paper format and a child´s wish can be
handled and sent to the Present Production
Department with just a few clicks.

7. Have you been naughty or nice…? Ooo yes, Santa
knows it all. And today more than ever!
If over the last centuries Santa had to handle the
Naughty-Or-Nice-List himself, nowadays he takes
advantage of big data and the algorithms created
by the smartest of elves.
The list updates itself in real-time. Therefore if a
child has done something bad, his status will
automatically change to naughty.
The elves can also view a child´s complete
behavioral history, the 12-Month-View-of-the-
Child. They can see how he has behaved
throughout the years, what presents he had
wished for and much more.

8. To keep track of all the processes in the
Workshop, Santa uses a special tool, called
Santa´s Management Portal.
This tool allows Santa to see the overall
performance of his elves and to control if
everything is on track and the presents made in
time for Christmas.
Santa´s Management Portal also lets Santa view
the work of each elf and make sure none of them
are being lazy and taking a nap instead of working.

9. Santa had never had problems finding a house or
delivering all presents in time. Yet, it was always a big
rush and often threatened to become very last minute.
To overcome this, the elves developed a mobile
application to ease Santa´s work. The application is
called Chimney to Chimney and runs on a tablet.
It shows Santa the best routes for delivering presents
and keeps him updated in real time with the locations
of the children, thus making sure that the presents are
really delivered to the right place and no child is left
out.

10. Santa takes his work very serious.
He knows that one small mistake or slip can be the cause
of tears in an innocent child eyes. Therefore, he has
implemented the Present Wish Workflow, which
guarantees that no child´s wish will get lost and will be
taken care of.

to deliver a present to each child in the World in just

Everything else we already see in our everyday lives.
