Bookmark
It is used to assign a name to specific point in a document. Using these bookmarks we can mark hyperlinks that jump
directly to the bookmarked location.
1. Add a bookmark
2. Select the text or item to which you want to assign a bookmark, or click where you want to insert a
bookmark.
3. On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Bookmark.
4. Under Bookmark name, type or select a name.
Bookmark names must begin with a letter and can contain numbers. You can't include spaces in a bookmark
name. However, you can use the underscore character to separate words — for example, "First_heading."
5. Click Add.

To set a cross-reference for a figure:
1) Open Microsoft Word document.
2) Select a figure or picture with caption.
3) Go to the desired page where you want to have the cross-reference hyperlink.
4) Click the 'References' tab. (The 'References' tab appears.)
5) From the 'Captions' group, click 'Cross-reference'. (The 'Cross-reference' dialog
box appears.)
6) From the 'Reference type' drop-down list, select 'Figure'.
NOTE: You can also select the appropriate source of reference in the document.
7) From the 'Insert reference to' drop-down list, select 'Entire caption'.
NOTE: You can also select the appropriate reference type of the desired source.
