2. Action Driven Douglas!
• I think Gabby Douglas is action driven. At the
young age of 14, she left her
family, friends, and even her state to go train
for the 2012 Olympics. She struggled through
many obstacles to reach her goal. She even
wanted to give up her dreams to be with her
family. Without her headstrong attitude, she
may not have been the first African American
to win gold as an all around gymnast.

• This website is the official website of Gabby
Douglass. She made it herself, so everything is
from her point of view. I think this is an
example of an action driven person because
she wanted to have a reliable source about
herself, so people got the hard truth about
her, rather than un-true facts about her.

• This article talks about Gabby, and how she
left her family to reach her dreams. It also talks
about how she is the first African American to
win the all-around gold medal at the 2012
olympics in gymnastics. Without being action
driven, she may not of been able to accomplish
her goals.

• This is an article about how Gabrielle
Douglass is donating personal items to the
Smithsonian Museum of African American
History and Culture. This is an example of an
action driven person because she wanted the
world to know her past.
