from the DiabetesOnlineCommunity.

5. While the Diabetes Online Community (DOC) will not be
able to be COMPLETELY replicated over the phone
through Diabetes Phone Connect, people without
internet access will still be able to receive the same
quality support.

6. Diabetes Phone Connect will connect diabetics who
have limited access to the internet and clinics to
knowledgeable people with diabetes, and similar
experiences, trained to provide counsel and support…
all via toll-free phone lines!
No medical advice will be given.

7. The money from the DHF Seeds Microgrant will fund
A Toll-Free Phone Line
Virtual Workspace
Website
Marketing Support to Endocrinology & Free Clinics
Google & Facebook Ads to reach the Diabetes Community

8. The microgrant will also provide:
Volunteer Training Handbook
Volunteer Recruitment
to ensure phone lines are covered a minimum of 16 hours everyday
