Keep it Simple: Simplicity is the key of PowerPoint slides. Slides weren’t meant to be the star of the show, you (the speaker) are and should be the main attraction. Therefore, the slides should have plenty of space. The less you have on your slide and the more you say will create a powerful message.

Limit Bullet Point & Text: The presentation must be beneficial to the audience and it’s the presenters job not to bore them a large amount of bullet points. The speaker is the main attraction, the slides are important but the speaker is even more. The audience should spend more time paying attention to you than the bullet points.

Have a Visual Theme, but avoid using PowerPoint Templates: Avoid templates. The templates in PowerPoint were most likely seen by your audience countless times. It will bore them.

Use Appropriate Charts: There are several ways to display your info that is presented onto a graph. Identify the proper graph that is suitable for the information you decide on sharing.

Use Color Well: Color evokes feelings. Choose wisely and the presenter will receive a good feedback from the audience causing them to pay closer attention. Cool colors looks good in the background and Warmer colors look good in the foreground: giving it the illusion that it is popping out at the audience.
