This is the 2010 presentation for Traxx. This is my favoriete product as I even have it in my home. You may recognize the product from other concepts from various retailers. If you have any questions on this presentation please contact alibia.devente@gmail.com

2. Attach Traxx to building walls and convert any space into useful space.
3. Maximize wall space and functionality: Tackable fabric tiles Market board tiles Slat tiles Presentation tools
4. Panel Statement of Line Page 300 Traxx blends well with all systems products. The attachment hardware necessary for a specific panel system can be found in that section of the pricelist. Also shown on this page Trim caps, Trim Channels, Vertical Cable Manager, Attachment Bracket Kits. 5. Traxx Overview Page 301 Traxx is a simple ¾” horizontal rail attached to the wall. Power and Electrical are taken from wall locations. This product integrates with all systems products and select modular desks and storage. Traxx is available in all paint finishes. Blocking is not required for this product. Upper Traxx is not required in every application. Tiles can be adapted to field dimensions. Work Tools are located in the Perks catalog.
6. Traxx Details Page 302 & 303 Traxx can be mounted to most interior walls including steel, wood, stud walls, masonry block or solid masonry walls. Custom paint finishes can be done locally by specifying antique white. Traxx can be mounted at any height. Traxx is available in 72” and 144” , it can be cut in the field to the required custom dimension by the installer. Rails are purchased in sets with four splice plates included. Traxx does not have to be used in an upper and lower condition. Images taken from installation instructions.
7. TraxxFastner Details Also listed on Page 303 All hardware is provided by the dealer as wall conditions are best determined by the installer. Traxx can not extend more than 6” from the last connection. When hung as a pair the mounting height will vary depending on the corresponding panel system, if used. Images taken from installation instructions.
8. Presentation Tools Page 304 Presentation tools allow conference height tiles to create a more in depth presentation. Tools can be built up to 3 layers. Flexboards provide a marker or fabric combination. Swivel marker/ presentation boards allow use of corner space in a room. To end a defined space consider using an end trim to finish off the cut edge located on page 322.
9. Splice Plate Details Page 305 There function is to join cut segments. Additional splice plates may be required when you are going around a corner. It is recommended that corners are mitered on the outside. Inside corners are butted. Splice plates provide a stronger connection when joining two cut pieces of Traxx. Minimum distance of Traxx is 16” for connection to studs in the wall. If used with an overhead the minimum dimension is 24”. Images taken from installation instructions.
10. Fastner Concealment Detail Page 305 Fastner concealment is sold as two finishes vinyl and felt. The 700” roll will accommodate two sets of 144” Traxx. Vinyl is specifically used for instances used with conferencing solutions. Felt is used primarily in closed/ private office applications.
11. Traxx Tile Heights Starts on page 306 Reference the corresponding tile height to the appropriate panel system. When using tiles with Xsite be sure to include fabric that is railroaded. Tiles can be field scribed. Trim channels can add space of conceal cut edges. Additional channels may be required when creating additional tiles. Conferencing tiles are also used with 80” high panels.
12. Traxx & Tiles Details Most popular tiles are fabric. The least expensive option is to go the distance however they can be specified to match worksurface dimensions. Tiles can be cut in the field to exact dimension. Trim channels act as spacers in filling odd and uneven dimensions. Images taken from installation instructions.
13. Slat Tile and Combination Tile Heights Page 310 To reduce cost combination tiles can be specified. The slats are 1” and the grooves are ½”. The grooves are used to plan with work tools. Be sure to specify the correct finish to the selected trim channels. When specifying combination tiles be sure to pay particular attention to the height of the overhead with fabric height.
14. Traxx Applications Traxx is a universal product. It can be used with systems product as well as a stand alone product. Consider the various examples shown here. While traxx are used in specific positions the locations are actually endless.
15. Traxx & Tiles with Cetra You can attach Cetra panels to Traxx with a starter panel. The back wall does not require panels given the panels are attached to Traxx. The same profile of overheads can be used on Traxx or Cetra panels the difference is the bracket.
16. CetraTraxx Starter Panel Page 30 The advantage in using this panel is to not have any breaks in Traxx while connecting at any point without interruption. This panel is none supporting for components. The panel is 6” and non-powered. Image taken from installation instructions.
17. CetraTraxx Starter Panel M Mount You may want to consider creating a perimeter walls with Cetra panels only placing Traxx on the inside. Cetra requires the starter panel in order to connect. This will not break your application of Traxx and offers the greatest possibilities for reconfiguration. Panel is 6” wide and is non-powered. Traxx Starter
18. Traxx & Tiles with Cetra in CAP Page 30 &306 Notice the right side of the drawing the overheads are hanging off the Cetra panels. The left side the overheads are hanging from Traxx.
19. Traxx & Tiles Trim Cap with Cetra Page 314 Don’t forget using the trim cap when combining Traxx with a panel system of desks and storage application. Consider using the trim cap when mixing Traxx with Cetra. The trim cap is not structural.
20. Traxx with Interworks EQ The Interworks connection is more clean given the polymer hinge panel connection.
21. Traxx with Interworks EQ Page 286 & 306 The Interworks connection to Traxx offers the ability to use a full height end trim to conceal the cut rail on page . Image taken from installation instructions.
22. Traxx with Interworks EQ in CAP You can start the Interworks panel from the edge of Traxx based on the full end trim.
23. Panel spacing with Traxx in CAP When planning with traxx & tiles consider the spacing for the panels. The spacing may require the modification of worksurfaces. Is it a “special “ that would be quoted from By Design?
24. TraxxWorksurface Brackets Page 316 Important: Brackets must be specified separately and sold individually. 1 3/16” needs support every 48”. 1 9/16” needs support every 60”. Brackets have an anti-kick-out design that provides secure attachment. A variety of additional supports such as angel brackets and support panels are used from Footprint. Images taken from pricelist and installation instructions. .
25. Storage spacing with Traxx Brackets can easily be spaced any place along the traxx rails. Spacing is located behind the pedestal to accommodate the worksurface brackets.
Traxx & Tiles in this example is used with Definition for a private office application.
UpperTraxx holds is ideally suited to hang overheads.Lower Traxx is best to support worksurfaces.
