4. • Economic policies under democracy regime encourages investment
widest. It gave impact that increasing the Indonesia’ GDP exceeds
USD 3000/capita on 2013. Its made Indonesia became 10th largest
economic country in the world.
• In the other hand, there is other result : the growing gap between
high income people with the marginalized citizens.
• The practice of democracy, which allows people freely meet the
economic needs, has been resulting in the exclusion of some other
vulnerable groups and marginalized people.
• "All men are created equal" (United States Declaration of
Independence, July 4, 1776), but in reality, "people develop
differently"

5. The reform era has prompted the emergence of a wide range of community initiatives to
participate in helping the government to solve various problems of the nation

• The number of Social Entrepreneurship and social movement from civil society innisiatif
tends to grow up ( Riset Penggerak Perubahan Kreanovator, 2013 )
Our Potency
6. • Public participation is one of the pillars of democracy
• The growth of Changemakers initiative, is a huge potential in terms
of alleviation of social problems
• The Challenges we face today - from saving our planet to ending
poverty - are simply too big for government to solve alone. We
need all hands on deck (Barrack Obama, the Office of Social
Innovation and Civic Participation, 2009).
