Vida/SIDA and the Institute of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture (IPRAC) host the opening of the exhibit of “ A Hero Comes Home” a display of the prominent editorial cartoons of Danny Sotomayor Elizabeth Millan, Marilyn Morales, Roberto Sanabria, Victor Salvo, Rick Garcia, Juan Calderon State Representative-4 th district Cynthia Soto, 26 th ward Alderman Roberto Maldonado, Emma Lozano, Lory Cannon and Alderman Ariel Reboyras

Annual Events ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Vida/SIDA also: • is a founding member of the Greater Humboldt Park Community of Wellness – a consortium of community organizations dedicated to address the health concerns of the Puerto Rican/Latino community, • sponsors cultural performances and murals with culturally sensitive HIV/AIDS prevention messages, • participates in the Puerto Rican festival and parade, • collaborates with universities and community colleges providing HIV testing • and hosts “What’s my T” a gay and transgender support group
