Governmeter is an innovative Web application that provides the opportunity for citizens to follow and monitor the national and local government in an easy and convenient way. Governmeter allows monitoring in relation to three aspects: key statistical indicators, government objectives, and government measures. This paper presents the main functionalities of this application, which we believe will contribute to a higher engagement of the general community and its citizens in the political deliberation
