Introduction
When it comes to making money online, we’re always looking for shortcuts. Not only because we
have limited time in which to build our online business, but because we’re always competing with
other marketers and developers online, and in many cases, the first in – gets the majority of
market share.
So, what do we do if we don’t have unlimited budgets in which to outsource projects and content
to qualified freelancers, and where do we turn if we’re forced into taking a grassroots approach to
building our online business from the ground floor up?
Resale Rights Content.
In the next several pages I will show you a few methods that you can use to further profit from
resale rights and private label rights content besides simply reselling them.
Let’s begin!
Compilations
One of the easiest ways to monetize resale rights products, besides selling them individually, is to
repackage different products into new compilations, and then sell it under your own brand.
The thing you should keep in mind is that even with content that is already in circulation, you can
still make money by selling this material if you create new compilations.
Example:
Several years ago I gathered products on various topics dealing with “marketing online.” I then
combined all these products to create a full, comprehensive package called eMarketing Kit and
priced it at $47.
My overall costs for creating this new product was very small. I paid someone for the graphics, a
quick sales letter. I already had the products from another compilation I created called Ultimate
eBook but now with membership sites like MonthlyRights.com you don't even need to buy the
products one by one.
Another way to make compilations is for each product to serve as a “module” that covers a
specific area, and that together, you're able to deliver a complete training program.
For example, if you are interested in creating a compilation for dog training, you could include a
report or video on basic dog commands like sitting and staying, one on how to house or crate
train, another or how to stop a dog from barking, etc.
Once you have the products, you then give the collection a new name and refer to each report or
video as a module.

Membership Sites
Another effective strategy is to create membership sites. Especially around a certain theme. Not
only are themed membership sites easy to setup and maintain, they are also extremely profitable
because rather than getting paid once, you get paid for access every single month.
The way I am currently using this strategy is with my membership site, MonthlyRights.com,
that provides private label and resale rights products to members for a low monthly few.
To get most of the content, I simply joined a few different MRR/PLR sites where I am able to get
access to new releases, and then I add that material to my own membership site.
Since people are interested in receiving new products to sell and use, by joining my site they are
able to grab dozens of new releases every month for one low price, rather than paying for content
on an individual (per license) basis.
As I mentioned, themed membership sites are extremely effective and are even easier to do. For
example you could create a membership site that only provides website templates and themes or
video tutorials. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
If you would rather have a “set and forget” membership site, you could launch a “drip feed” site.
Basically, you have “12 months” of content and when people join they start at the beginning and
once they reach the last of the content their billing stops.
Email Marketing
Most people tend to overlook using resale rights with their email marketing. Sure, they announce
products to their lists but that's about it. They totally miss the boat in virtually every other way.
The first being in using them as incentives to get people to join a list on a specific topic. Private
label rights really come in handy for this because you can not only brand them as your own but
also promote products and services of yours or with your affiliate links.
Another great thing to use resale and private label products is for gifts and actual content. You
can use private label rights products for your newsletters and then giveaway the products with
resale rights from time to time.
A method I have had great success with it what I call the “giveaway up-sell”. Basically, you setup
a download page for people to download the product for free and offer rights or another product.
This gives something of value to your clients and makes you money.

Blogs
The number one way to use rights products with blogs is by posting private label rights products.
You can do this manually or, my preferred method, automatically by adding a lot of content at
once. These type of blogs are perfect to earn AdSense income with and even advertising other
products that you have rights to.
This is really easy and can be profitable if you get in the right niche.
Bonuses
As you can tell, there are several ways, besides the normal “flipping,” to monetize resale and
private label right products. Yet, for some reason, people seem to ignore using them as bonuses
for paid products.
For example, if you were to develop your own information product, you could find high quality
private label and resale right products to use as bonuses, instantly maximizing the perceived
value while giving your customers even more bang for their buck.
You'll want to make sure that your bonus items serve as auxiliary components to your primary
product, so that they either extend or enhance the information found in your original release. You
want your customers to be able to use the bonus products to expand their knowledge or better
understand your topic, and you can do this by simply purchasing PLR or RR licenses to similar
products in the marketplace.
For example, if you developed an ebook on blogging, as a bonus item, you could included
WordPress templates so that your customers could use the bonus package to save time creating
their blogs. So, always make sure that your bonus items compliment your primary product, and
offer real value to customers.
Closing
There you have it but remember, you can leverage resale and private label right products in many
different ways, so don't get stuck on just one project. Before we go, there is one last thing you
need to keep in mind. Not all private label and resale rights content gives you the option of
including them in membership sites, with other products, to giveaway, etc. So be sure to read
over the license provided with each one carefully to ensure that you are complying with the
original developers restrictions or guidelines. You never want to jeopardize your reputation by
distributing content without authorization.
