1) People have long dreamed of human flight but early attempts at airplanes did not work, though gliders and hot air balloons allowed for limited flight. 2) Jets were developed during World War 2 and are now primarily used for military purposes, being able to fly faster than the speed of sound. 3) Rockets provide some of the fastest flight but require assistance to achieve lift-off, with the space shuttle being reusable.

on motor but they
