This portfolio contains examples of the
design process and completion of a variety of
projects. Beyond the graphics I am a talented
professional with a LEED accreditation in new
construction working towards a bachelors
degree in landscape architecture. I strive
towards innovation with an eye on practicality. I
have much to offer any company, organization
or individual that seeks to utilize my knowledge
and skills. With this in mind I expect to
also continue learning, taking direction and
developing my design knowledge and abilities.

7. washington streetscape_goshen, indiana
This streetscape renovation is designed for Washington Street, Goshen, IN. The
design was completed while working for Wightman Petrie, Inc. Traffic calming
occurs as the space is a design experience rather than only a transitional corridor.
The design includes safer parking through angled parking and bump outs. The
pedestrian is given priority through designed sidewalks, crosswalks, planters and
street trees

The community
was currently
in the process
of developing
a master plan
to revitalize the
town. Creating a
sense of identity
and pulling out the
community’s unique
characteristics are
key in forming a
sense of place.

The community
of Lakeville, IN
currently uses the
heavily traveled
cunningham
transportation
corridor of U.S.
31 as their Main

Street. A lack of
master planning
and zoning for
appropriate
downtown uses
characterized the
Main Street. The
state of Indiana
plans to re-route
U.S. 31 around the
small communities
like Lakeville. this
would dramatically
cut down on the
amount of visitors.
Wightman Petrie
worked with the
community in to
order design a
cohesive master
plan and revitalize
the community
in order to draw
visitors that
can boost the
economy.

26. Through experience as a
student and intern working
for a firm I have developed
my knowledge of project
engineering. I have had
the opportunity to work
on construction drawings
such as, but not limited to,
site grading and drainage,
stormwater calcuation and
pipe sizing, construction
secton details for pavement
and walls, road alignment,
layout plans, detail plans,
and planting plans. The
experience has taught me
to be an innovative yet
practical designer that
looks to push the edges
using new techniques and
technology.

The springfield
nature center
serves as a
headquarters and
an environment
to teach the
community
about the natural
systems. The
construction

stormwater
drainage, parking
and drop off layout,
as well as layout

section details.

the opportunity to work as
the Ball State University
Career Center Marketing
Assistant. This experience
has given me insight into
the creative and forward
thinking required in order
to promote a business
or organization and give
it the competitive edge.
I was able to learn and
offer suggestions in how to
set the organization apart
and gain clients. I also
organized and managed an
aspect of the social media
marketing component
which was the Career
Center Facebook fan page.
