Changing Transportation New Hope Academy Lego Robotics

The 2009 New Hope Academy Lego Robotics team was asked to solve a problem…..and the problem was…

to look at our community and discover… how people, animals, information, and things travel.

Once we knew how people and things moved in our community, we had to pick one main mode of transportation and do some research to adress…

What kinds of problems keep people and things from getting where they are going safely? What kind of problems keep people and things from moving efficiently, getting where they are going quickly and using the least amount of energy? How could our team help solve one of those problems?

The community that we are working with is almost like… our WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!

Biofuel to get rid of pollution Autopilot to prevent drunk and aggressive driving Transforming capabilities for travel on air, wateror land.

We couldn’t do transforming because the technology was not available yet.

Autopilot Mercedes has a system that keeps cars from skidding out of control; Lexus has another that parallel parks for you. We will use BMW’s autopilot system . . .
