2.1. General
Miles form the basic unit of all calculations for all frequent flyer accounts to reward those Meridian
members for their loyalty and trust to AeroSvit and Meridian partner airline.

has reached an agreement with the other issuing Programme operator concerned. Miles and the mileage accounts

Members may check their current account balance at Representative of AeroSvit, Meridian partner
airline’s office or Meridian Service Center and via their personal online service by entering their Meridian card
number and PIN on www.aerosvit.com.
2.3. Mileage accrual
Miles may be earned from the date of commencement of membership. The number of miles credited
depends on the Programme conditions valid at the time of utilization of the service.
Meridian also offers mileage accrual with specified partner companies. Since Meridian has no direct
control over these companies, neither AeroSvit nor the joint operator concerned may be held responsible for
availability of services provided by partner companies (e.g. flights, hotel stays, rental cars) and for proper
performance of any contracts.
2.3.1. Flights
Miles are credited to the member's account for each actually flown segment of a fully paid scheduled flight
by AeroSvit or Meridian partner airline. The amount of miles credited for direct flights depends on the distance
between point of departure and destination, as indicated on the ticket, on separately announced minimum miles or
on fixed rates announced in the Meridian communication media.
The mileage is multiplied by the booking class factor according to the flight class paid and indicated on the
ticket.
Otherwise, the published minimum miles or fixed rates are credited.
AeroSvit and Meridian partner airline reserves the right to change the applicable multiplier and booking
classes for the mileage credit for certain destinations.
The Programme provides the possibility to credit bonus miles to a member for all regular AeroSvit and
Meridian partner airline flights flown within 6 months before the actual date of registration in the Meridian
Programme. In such a case a member should present to the Meridian Service Center the following flight
documentation: original/ copy of passenger’s receipt and original/ copy boarding passes for each segment flown.
Meridian reserves the right at any time to deduct miles for a flight/service which has not been realized, or
where mileage accrual evaluation does not apply, or where it is a discrepancy between what it was added and what
should have been added to the Meridian member’s account.
Miles for a particular flight/service may only be added once. In case where it is possible to include one
flight/service into more marketing Programmes only one Programme must be chosen.
2.3.2. Non-airline partners
Each member may earn a fixed number of miles when choosing the services of non-airline Meridian
partners.
Miles are credited to the member's account for every paid stay or night at a Meridian partner hotel,
provided the booked hotel rate qualifies for mileage accrual at the time of conclusion of the contract for

refunded services that qualify for mileage accrual.
For any reason it is recommended to a member to keep his/her flight documentation (passenger’s receipt
and boarding pass) after each actual flight flown.
2.3.7. Retroactive crediting procedure
Any claims for miles not automatically registered can be credited to the member's account within 6 months
after commencement of a flight/service concerned. For this purpose, Meridian Service Center requires the
