3. 1.1 Power Plant There are many types of power station. They are classify into two main groups: fuel and prime mover. Fuel: nuclear, fossil fuel, geothermal and solar thermal Prime mover: Steam turbine, wind turbine and gas turbine In power station, fuel is often used to produce heat energy which turn the turbine. Thus, generating electricity.

5. Higher Voltage, lower current. With high current, more heat is produce.

6. Lower current, less energy is loss through heat

8. Low resistance metal and larger cross-sectional area of wire is used to reduce resistance. Thus, reduce power loss
