People with anorexia restrict their food intake, have a strong desire to be thin, and may exhibit other symptoms like loss of menstrual periods, feeling cold, and losing hair. DEFINITION of Anorexy: Anorexy is characterized by eating small quantities of food , a severe restriction in what food is concerned, caused by the intense fear to be fat, a great desire to be thinner and a distortion of her/his body image; this leads the patient to have a weight below the acceptable limits.
