1. The Boys are Back in Town...Red Sox Spring Training
While not all of the Red Sox players have reported to Spring Training '09, quite a few of them were
in full swing today as they went about a range of exercises, pitching and batting drills, and running
their infamous laps.
Core Exercise Routine
Jason Varitek was back at the helm, entertaining throngs of news reporters as he was interviewed by
NESN (New England Sports Network) regarding his new contract and his feelings about the Sox in
'09.
Even though today's practice called only for pitchers and catchers, Kevin Youkilis was there in all his
glory, hitting balls and fielding for other batters.

2. Pitcher Justin Masterson was in rare humor....hamming it up for the crowd....

3. ....and with my daughter Elizabeth, who gets credit for most of these photos....

4. ...even this scary one of me as I await my credentials. (See, she's the GOOD looking one whose
reflection you can see taking my photo!)

5. So Red Sox fans, rest assured the boys are back in town....most of them anyway, and I'll be checking
