This is one of the presentations I gave during my college. Its all about Claytronics, futuristic nanorobotics where nano robots can be combined to form any physical shape. Its very complicated but its applications are endless.
2. Introduction Claytronics is an abstract future concept Combines nanoscale robotics and computer science to create individual atom sized computers called claytronic atoms, or catoms Interact with each other to form tangible 3-D objects that a user can interact with Have the ability to move around, communicate with other computers, change colour, & electrostatically connect to other catoms to form different shapes Done by the software instructions 10/10/2010 2 CLAYTRONICS: Nanotechnology Beyond Imagination
3. Overview Advanced version of nanotechnology Controlled with computerized information Increasing processing power, Moore’s Law Smaller procesor sizes Individual unit can communicate & move independently 10/10/2010 3 CLAYTRONICS: Nanotechnology Beyond Imagination

6. Applications RealizeSynthetic Reality, through self assembling robots Change the wayweinteractwitheachother & machines 3D TV, wherewecansee as well as touchthings Virtual Meetings Surgery 10/10/2010 6 CLAYTRONICS: Nanotechnology Beyond Imagination
7. My Projections(Real World Applications) No need to carry gadgets A small bag of Catoms A contoller Softwares & blueprints installed E.g. Shape & colour changing mobiles Shape, size & colour changing clothes 10/10/2010 7 CLAYTRONICS: Nanotechnology Beyond Imagination
8. Economic Aspect API’s can be provided by manufacturers for developing blueprints Blueprints can be developed to be sold based on license Controller devices & softwares can be developed & licensed just as we have mobile phones & mobile & other OS at present 10/10/2010 8 CLAYTRONICS: Nanotechnology Beyond Imagination
9. Conclusion Claytronics isveryadvancedtechnology Can change the wayweinteractwith computer Has entirely new economicalopportunities Atpresent, in early stages Wouldbedeveloped in a few decades 10/10/2010 9 CLAYTRONICS: Nanotechnology Beyond Imagination
