2. Age Range
Our production is aimed audiences aged
between 16-35.This is due to a mixture of the
sexual content, and they can better relate and
understand it, because they are more likely to be
in similar situations, and the people we
interview are similar ages.
3. Gender
We are concentrating on
making the documentary
appealing for both genders, as
the issue concerns both, and
can be related to by males and
females alike.The
documentary is about the
controversial views on online
relationships, and the way it’s
seen and how it goes against
the stereotype, questions and
views asked by both genders
who’ll find it equally as
interesting.
4. BBFC
The documentary is a 15
because it is only suitable, and
relevant for 15 years olds and
over.The documentary contains
no bad language, or nudity,
although it has a number of
sexual references only suitable
for older audiences .
We do not loose out on much
potential audience with this
higher age rating, as younger
audiences wouldn’t be as
interested in the documentary
as they cannot connect to it.
5. Socio-economic group
The socio economic target audience
for us is C1, C2 and D.
These are the people who would
most likely watch the type of
documentary we’re making, and who
can relate, and are more likely to do
the things we are looking into within
our documentary.
