- A selection of 8 functionalities will be tested in over 10*100 vehicles from 11 European OEM brands ( both passenger and commercial vehicles ) Main activities start in 4 different countries (not restricted to these countries only)

- Vehicle Management Center : The VMC is an entity which can be seen as the overall management entity. Each VMC represents a country in Europe. There are 4 VMCs in the euroFOT project: French VMC, German VMC, Italian VMC and Swedish VMC. Operation Center : An operation center is a sub-entity of a VMC dealing with the operational management . There are 5 Operation Centers: France, Germany Operation Center 1, Germany Operation Center 2, Italy and Sweden Operation Site : An operation site is directly linked to an OEM. It deals with the site management and the OEM specific aspects (Maintenance, Dealers…). There are 9 Operation Sites: Ceesar-West Paris, Ford-Aachen-Köln, MAN-Munich, VW-Wolfburg, BMW-Munich, Daimler-Sindelfingen, CRF-Torino, Volvo-Gothenburg, VCC-Gothenburg.

- euroFOT is the first European large-scale FOT on in-vehicle systems with a strong involvement of vehicle manufacturers all around Europe. We have 28 partners from 10 different countries … of which 9 OEMs, 3 Suppliers, Research and others 9 OEMs representing 11 European brands.
