AUSTRALIANS were told yesterday they would be presented with a clear choice when they go to the polls on August 21, but the campaign is shaping to be one of the narrowest in recent memory, with neither political leader announcing new policy directions and both scrambling to neutralise contentious issues. But in the first stumble of the campaign, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott was forced to hose down a potential industrial relations disaster. Mr Abbott's move to counter Ms Gillard's claim that he intended to reintroduce WorkChoices backfired despite his assurances.
Billboard Media The Billboard showing a revealing picture of Tony Abbot reading "Tony, abstinence is not a climate option.“ promotes a political activism group for Get Up! This was set up on the4th of March, 2010.

Gillard reveals her real self August 3 rd, Julia Gillard current Prime Minister issued a statement that she was going to “through away the rule book and let her real self take centre stage” Julia also challenged Mr Abbot to another debate, with Tony declining as he thought there was no need for him to waste campaign time on another debate because Labour thought their own operations for Government were slipping.
Julia shares personal details of herself to the public in hopes of scoring votes by opening up and letting people truly understand Julia Gillard.
Labour’s economic success’ Liberal’s campaign failures Julia Gillard promoting the fact that the Labour party while in power under Kevin Rudd were able to keep Australia out the world wide recession, despite other major political parties from other countries sunk under economic troubles. Not a good week for Liberal after Tony Abbot’s re-launching his scheme for paid parental leave , with the down side of business losses accompanied with a poor choice of words relating to an anti-rape campaign. “No, means no”
Abbot cracks down on crime Tony proposes to crack down on gangs and knifing in the streets of Australia under the leadership of colation Government. Helping to eliminate crimes in Australia will be the introduction of the national violent gangs data base, so that the violence of gangs with be tracked and recorded. As well as a national violent gangs squad to take the situation under control and contain the perpetrators of violent crimes under the command of Australian Crime Commission that will fight the crimes . Knife crimes, causing 300 homicides a year will hopefully be dramatically reduced by limiting the import of knifes into Australia and harsher penalties for carrying knifes without a lawful reason. Along with this more mental detectors will be installed to detect knifes under the control of Police.

Tony’s Time Warp taking Australia Backwards In this comedy sketch about the poor choices and leadership of the Liberal party the author talks of Liberal’s failures in choosing wisely for the welfare of Australia. Tony Abbot will take Australia backwards, is the general message of the comic cartoon putting him and previous Prime Minister John Howard in a bad lighting for comic relief. In the line up of situations in the sketch is Liberal’s pervious cutting unfair dismissal laws, cutting GP clinics and trades training centres.
