ICT has great positive impact in education

our assignment in the previously, we have to go to
the library to collect or gather
information. It is not only a
waste of our time but also
there is a limit to the infor-
mation we can get. Beside these, ICT has also helped

9. Hacking
Computer hacking is the practice of modifying
computer hardware and software to accomplish a
goal outside of the creator’s original purpose.
People who engage in computer hacking activities
are often called hackers. Hacking may results in
financial losses, loss of information and damaged
reputation.
10. Spreading Computer Virus
A virus is a program that propagates
itself by infecting other programs on the same
computer. Viruses can do serious damage to the
computer. So, by the use of ICT the virus are
spreaded in different computers which may damage
the files and information of the computers. Viruses
might also steal the information of the computer and
send to some other person. It may also result in
blasting the computer system.
11. Plagiarism
Plagiarism is an act of using closely
imitating the language and thoughts of another
author without authorization and the
representation of that author’s work as own, as
by not crediting the original author. Plagiarism
can negatively affect the reputation of a student,
teacher, professional.
12. Unemployment
One of the largest negative effects of
ICT can be the loss of a person’s job. Job losses
may occur for several reasons, including: Manual
operations being replaced by automation. e.g.
robots replacing people on an assembly line
Job export. e.g. Data processing work being sent
to other countries where operating costs are
lower.
13. Conclusion
In spite of, the fact that we cannot really ignore
that there are a number of ways in which technology
negatively impacts our society, for the better part it has
greatly helped to make out lives better. Technology has greatly
helped us to become more efficient thus increasing our
productivity. It has also helped us a great deal to be able to
save on many resources such as time and money and these
are great benefits that cannot be ignored. It has also worked
well in bringing unity into the world by turning it into a global
village which has in turn helped people to more easily
overcome their cultural, racial and continental barriers.
