2. WE VALUE YOUR IDEAS
In ZPS, every idea thought
for the improvement of the
school community holds
the potential to be a good
idea. It will usually trigger
another better idea, which
often leads to the best idea.
3. WE VALUE YOUR IDEAS
Therefore, all ideas can
come to the table... no idea
is dismissed, and there is a
freedom to critique, scrap,
and improve the ideas.
4. WE VALUE YOUR IDEAS
Thus, there are no bad
ideas in ZPS. Every idea
spurs dialogue, launches
a discussion and generates
thoughtful momentum.

10. IDENTIFY AND SHARE!
Approach me, yours truly,
Mohamed Saddiq, to share
your idea or solution to a
challenge or problem in
school. You can also drop me
an email or a simple note on
my table… it’s that easy!
We’ll then talk about it over
coffee or tea.
11. SHARE AND COLLABORATE!
We’ll become partners and
start the adventure together.
Through this collaboration,
we shall try to make a
difference and make ZPS a
better home.
Let’s make your idea or
solution be realised through
the following steps:
12. DESIGN AND PLAN
Nothing helps move things
along better than a good
plan. Effective planning is
vital to the success of
implementing your idea or
suggestion. Planning usually
feels like a frustrating delay
to action, but the process will

and people-power.
13. EXECUTE AND IMPLEMENT
After careful planning, we
will carry out the plan
together. We can also do it
with some friends and
partners. There might be
some teething problems in
the initial stages, but
together, we can overcome
those challenges and learn
from them.
14. ANALYSE AND MONITOR
We shall check and monitor
the implementation at
various stages and study the
results. This monitoring and
review effort is to ensure
that timely interventions,
modifications or
enhancements can made
strategically and as
seamlessly as possible.
15. TRIBUTE, REVIEW AND REFLECT
At this stage, we will give
tribute to key players in the
implementation and learn
from their experiences.
Through this recognition and
a process of reviewing and
reflection, we will make any

scale.
16. ENVISAGE AND CELEBRATE
We will then envisage the
implemention and celebrate
the idea on larger scale. At
this stage, we will involve
stakeholders affected by the
implementation or changes,
partners whose cooperation
we need, and those who will
benefit from the
implementation.
Time is saved because planning helps to: Determine whether the task should be attempted Work out the most effective way of reaching the target Prepare to overcome unexpected difficulties with adequate resources. Planning is beneficial because it allows the project team to: Take stock of the current position Identify precisely what is to be achieved Detail the who, what, when, where, why and how of achieving the target. Assess the impact of the plan on your organisation and the people within it, and on the outside world. Evaluate whether the effort, costs and implications of achieving the plan are worth the achievement. Consider the control mechanisms (for example reporting, quality or cost control) that are needed to achieve your plan and keep it on course
