This advisory letter is intended to clarify the misconception that religion is the culprit of all evil perpetrated in the name of God. Yes, some religions do justify the beheading of infidels (non believers) but the Bible does not.

Religion versus Legalism
By Julio C. Banks
Dear seeker, while I do appreciate your efforts to respond to the graceful calling of Jesus
Christ and not "Legalism" which is “The Law of Moses” under the first covenant; you need
to consider the meaning of religion (Grace) vs. legalism (works).
The Christian Religion teaches (2 Timothy 3:16) the intent of the “New (second)
Covenant” manifested by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ:
"8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves,
it is the gift (grace) of God— 9
not by works (legalism), so that no one can boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9
When Jesus stated "Do likewise" or "Do this in remembrance of Me" are actually
"religious instructions".
Religion means "Religate" which is to “Bind together” or "Reconcile".
When Jesus was teaching His disciples He was actually practicing religion as He was
speaking and living religion – Christianity is the religious teaching of Jesus Christ who
stated:
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me” – John14:6.
The "religious figures" that crucified Jesus are "Evil-inspired" legalists. In fact, legalism
is a deterrent for seekers to be reconciled (religated) to the Father via the acceptance
of the atonement of our sins and redeeming of humans from their natural fallen state.
Just like a teacher or college professor takes “The essence of the textbooks assigned to
the subject to ‘teach a course’, so is a Pastor or Priest directing the ‘sheep’ to the
‘understanding of the Scriptures (Bible)”
Please consider the theme "Why I love Christianity and hate (love-less) legalism"
“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day
whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served or any other god ... But as
for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." – Joshua 24:15
This is my Godly council offered to you, who seek to know the will of God in your life,
with humility and respect from your Christian Brother,
