3. Creativity experiment
A neuroscientist named Paul Howard-Jones designed an
experiment that brings out a person's creativity
The experiment is to write a story (4-5 sentences) out of
3 unrelated words (Flea, Song, Sword), then to write
another story with 3 related words (Magician, Hat,
Rabbit). For both stories the subjects had to be as
creative as possible
The point of the experiment was to show that combining
unrelated ideas had a greater creative result than
combining related ideas

ideas to create something new. (ex. Gutenberg's
