If
you
are
coming
from
out
of
state
and
you
need
to
purchase
airline
tickets
please
note
that
arrival
dates
and
times
are
approximate
until
about
18
hours
from
arrival.
Approximately
72
hours
from
arrival
an
IRIS
message
alert
that
will
begin
“This
is
an
IRIS
message
alert,
please
stand
by.”
A
second
message
is
sent
when
the
plane
leaves
Manas,
message
3
is
sent
when
the
plane
leaves
Europe.
First
you
will
need
access
to
Ft.
Bragg.
In
order
to
access
Ft.
Bragg
you
will
need
a
post
sticker
and
military
ID.
If
you
do
not
have
these
items,
your
car
will
be
searched.
License
and
Registration
is
required.
Second
you
will
access
Bragg
Army
Air
Field
(formerly
Pope
Army
Air
Field).
This
gate
is
no
longer
a
check
point.
PLEASE
NOTE:
NO
PETS.
Third
Green
Ramp
is
the
name
of
the
airfield
the
plane
will
be
arriving
at.
After
the
plane
lands
at
Pope
Army
Airfield
(Green
Ramp),
the
Soldier’s
will
march
into
the
hangar
and
families
will
have
15-‐20
minutes
with
Soldier’s.
The
Soldier’s
will
then
board
a
bus
and
travel
to
Simmons
Army
Airfield
for
the
Task
Force
Welcome
Home
Ceremony.
Soldiers
will
then
turn
in
any
sensitive
items.
Families
are
welcome
at
either
Pope
Army
Airfield
or
Simmons
Army
Airfield.
Allow
plenty
of
time
and
be
prepared
to
wait
as
long
as
two
hours.
After
all
Soldier’s
and
sensitive
items
are
accounted
for,
the
Soldier’s
will
be
released
to
go
home.

onto Pope Take a left onto Hurst
DR and follow around the airfield
Green Ramp is on your right
5. From Butner RD gate, follow Butner to Reilly RD Take a
right onto Reilly RD and follow Reilly RD through ACP
onto Pope Take a left onto Hurst DR and follow around
the airfield Green Ramp is on your right

7. Turn left when exiting Green Ramp. Head southeast on Hurst Dr. Turn right onto
Reilly Rd. Take the 1st left onto Butner Rd. Straight across Bragg Blvd. Continue
Onto N Carolina 210 S. Turn left onto Honeycutt Rd. Turn right onto Parham Blvd.
Proceed through gate to 3-82 Hangar.
