2. Basic Machine Involved Service Plans Possible Offered: At all times, the machine shop that provides excellent service shall be chosen. It should have the reputation for providing good prototype and production of quality machining that is used depending on its purpose or type of business e,g, Aircraft, Aerospace, Electronics and Medical industries.

3. Reliable Machinery Shops: A reliable machine company will produce high quality parts that could meet demanding delivery schedules at reasonable prices. The high quality finished parts or machine is a combination of plating, heat treating and special processes. Some machine shops produce parts in small or large quantity that would meet the strict specifications depending on the client it serves.

4. Typical Business Relationships: A business dealing between the machine shop owner and client starts by having good relationship wherein both are committed to the respective agreement. The client only wants the best possible kind of service through provision of quality parts, on time delivery and competitive prices. This could be the start of a long term relationship with client and the service provider.

5. Owners: The machine shop owner should provide assistance whenever possible most especially in the early stage and final stage of product development. The output produced by the machine shop shall include testing of the prototype part, production run and custom built machinery.

6. Truth: Machining could be a tedious task since it requires attention to details. Before a workpiece can be finished, it has to pass certain specifications that are exhibited in drawings and blueprints. The correct dimensions should also be taken into consideration.

7. In some cases a problem could arise in achieving correct finish and surface smoothness. An incorrect workpiece can lead to incorrect clamping, a dull tool or improper presentation of tool. The poor surface finish called chatter could be obvious through irregular finish and the waves marked on the machine surfaces.

8. Machining Processes There are three primary machining processes which are known as turning, drilling and milling. Nevertheless, we will be discussing one of the processes being done in a machine shop. It is circle interpolating or called as orbital drilling whereby the process creates holes using machine cutters.

9. The orbital drilling requires rotating of the cutting tool around its axis. The cutting tool moves in axial direction to drill. It is combined with movement, sidewards motion to machine in an opening or cavity. The cutting tool can be utilized in drilling different diameters of holes. The word orbital drilling came from the word orbits found around the center hole. The orbital drilling has various advantages compared to conventional drilling that increases hole precision.

10. Machining is a group of processes. The most common is forming a chip from the workpart known as swarf. This is facilitated through cutting. The motion between the tool and work is required. The relative motion is achieved through primary activity called “cutting speed” while the secondary motion is called “feed.” The desired shape of the work surface is done through combination of motions. There are indeed various activities that are being done in machine shops.
