The climate in Ras al-Khaimah consists of a long, hot dessert summer and a mild
winter.
Beginning in late April, summer brings average temperatures of around 31°C. By
July, highs of 40°C are common. Thanks to incredibly high humidity, no rain or
snow has ever been recorded during the summer months. For those
unaccustomed to the heat, the nights are easier to bear, with temperatures
hovering in the mid-twenties.
From October to March, temperatures lower to between 19°C and 28°C during
the day. Temperatures at night are lower still, and the first three months of the
year see a fair amount of rainfall
