I was primarily used to put out hot spots on in house jobs. Worked multiple jobs at the same time with
multiple job leads and engineers where needed when jobs were shot handed. I was able to complete all
task ahead of the expected time given by the job leaders.
The toughest challenge was keeping the different job specifications separate.
I overcame this by spending two to three hours on a specific job task when multiple job
schedules were having to be completed by set times. Client was pleased with my work ethic and
knowledge.

Senior Piping Designer Field Engineer (Client: Azota Gas Processing Ltd. Houston, Texas, Field office DCP
National Helium Plant in Liberal, Ks.)
Responsible for trouble shooting design and scope changes in the field that were received from Azota
Houston office.
Plant units covered on this assignment included: Amine, Glycol, Demethanizer, Propane, Cold box, Cryo,
NHU, Compressors.
Utility Systems covered: Instrument Air, Steam and Condensate, Cooling water, Open Drain, Close
Drain, Cold Close Drain and Vent systems.
Responsible for walking down all system, tracking all changes through punch list and redline mark ups of
P&ID’s. Worked with client engineers and transferred all marks and comments they had to the home
office for final process and engineering review.
Worked with Field Superintendents, Formans and Tradesmen on review and completion of items on the
punch list.
Responsible for P&ID and punch list reviews with the client.
The toughest challenge was keeping the Houston office informed of changes and additions. I
resorted to used flash drives as a means of transferring information due to the poor internet
connection at job site. My company and the client were pleased with my work ethic and
knowledge.

Design of new and revamp flare header system for update to plant additions
Field investigations, developed dwgs. and isos in a timely manner to fall within the 2013 shut down
schedule. Catworxs.

Accomplishments: Reviewed flare study reports with engineer and determined that all PSVs in the tank
farm were adequate and no change was needed due to that addition of a new flare. This saved the
company around 250,000 dollars and cut the project by around 35%. Received training on, and used
survey instrument Total Station linked with Cadworxs Field Pipe survey software.
The toughest challenge was dealing with direct employee that ran the drafting group. I was not
under his authority but he resented that I was there and making more money than him. I did
have to do a job for him and when I had all the field information and required drawings done in
four hours as opposed to one of his employee’s that would have taken two days to complete the
task, I think he say the value that I brought to the table.
Client Project engineer was pleased with my work, speed, and accuracy.

Accomplishments: Worked on remote compressor stations. Developed site and plot plans using AutoCad
Suit 2013 model to generate 3D dwgs. and isos.
The toughest challenge was that the company had never done any pipeline or compressor
station work before and had never bid on this big of a job. None of the Meers employees had
any knowledge of this type of piping or the specifications to follow.
I worked with a fellow Sr. Piping designer and together we worked with the client and met all
the mile stones on the job. This helped Meers Eng. To bid on more work the client had.
Through my self-motivated, I would seek out information from the client and vendors that was
needed but not provide at the start of the job.

Senior Piping Designer Field Engineer (Client: Delik Refining, Tyler, Tx.)
Design of gas compressor stations, amine and cyro unit.
Fast pace development of compressor stations and bullet tanks and related piping and equipment.
Developed and maintained piping drawings, line and tie-in list, civil and structural drawings Auto Plant
Suite 3D 2012.
The toughest challenge was that this was a fast pace job that required all piping design to be
done and fabricated so it could be put in as soon as the bullet tanks were replaced. I developed
a tracking tie-in list and had all piping that could be installed place in the area or erected up to a
point so that down time of the unit was kept to a minimum.
I was selected for the job because I can operate independently and have the knowledge to make
decisions to best move the job forward in a cost effective manner.

Design and installation of Gasoline transfer line and B-100 Bio Fuels system.
Developed and maintained iso, piping and tie-in list, completed all isos, piping drawings, civil and
structural drawings. Cadworxs
Toughest challenge: Client had ask for an 8” gasoline transfer line to be run from a tank to the
truck loading area. I completed all field work and drawings and had them ready to issue. Clients
engineer reviewed the work and realized that they should have ran a 12” line. By keeping good
field notes and photos and was able to find a new routing and redo the drawings in two weeks.
I was selected for the job because I can operate independently and have the knowledge to make
decisions to best move the job forward in a cost effective manner.
Accomplishments: Worked on proposal for Bio Fuels project for diesel system injection at truck loading.

Client needed five case studies on the addition of the Bio fuels lines and equipment to truck and rail
loading areas at opposite ends of the plant. The client then decided on which option they would use,
based on cost, time and construction limitations of existing piping, pumps, and storage tanks.
Did a preliminary piping study and material requirements for each case. Proceeded into final design and
responsible for all field surveys, dimensions and routing of the new lines, and locating the filters and
pumps. Developed and maintained iso, piping and tie-in list, completed all isos, piping drawings, civil and
structural drawings. Worked with Instrument and Electrical departments in the location of panel boxes
and instrument location points. I worked with and aided the survey crew with the locations of
equipment, and structural supports and racks.
The toughest challenge: To save time I utilized aerial photos of the plant and overlaid the five
different studies and compiled material and equipment list and needs. Did field walk downs and
pulled dimensions for runs of pipe and location of equipment.
When client chose the study to use, I pull all existing drawings for piping structural, civil and
equipment and marked up copies of these drawings. At the end of the job I transfer all the final
marks to the original drawings. I developed the drawing list, tie-in list and did bulk material take
offs. My office and the client requested that I do this job based on my previous work for them.
Accomplishments: In charge of designing piping, structural and civil for Aviation Gas manifold transfer
system. The scope required the incorporation of two existing tanks, and one pump into the Aviation Gas
system for capacity expansion. Created piping studies, isos, civil and structural drawings, modified
P&ID’s and developed line list, ios drawing record and tie point list. I handled the survey documentation
and worked with the construction firm in the solving of problems.
Auto Pro – Auto Iso was used for the isos and ACAD 2007 for all other drawings.
The toughest challenge: Working with subcontractors on civil, structural and piping and the
client. Set up a weekly schedule to review work of all subcontractors and kept the client
informed on the weekly progress. Did all the drawing for the piping, structural and civil.
Developed line, tie-in, drawing, iso and equipment list for the job.
The client was pleased with my work ethic and knowledge.
Accomplishments: In charge of designing and modifying changes to a rebuild of SAT Gas Unit
Working closely with varies field crews to make modifications to engineering company errors and did
design of additional systems requested by the client. Required to learn and operate Auto Pro - Auto Iso,
to develop cad generated isometrics. Developed utility sheets for additional utilities required by the
client.
Toughest challenge; Sat Gas unit was being rebuild after the fire, per existing S&B drawings.
No drawings were kept on the small bore lines. Required to find routings for these lines using
P&ID’s and existing S&B piping drawings which only reflected the large bore piping.
Worked with two drafters to do field sketch isos. I later drew the isos in an acad format and do
material takeoffs for ordering.

Accomplishments: Worked on conceptional design for multiple SRU TGTU and Amine units for Sinclair
Refining Company. Sinclair pulled the job because of financing.
