1. EXECUTIVE TRUST OFFICER ABORIGINAL TRUST SERVICES (L10) - PURPOSE OF JOB
PCG Private Trust (PT) provides a full range of Trust services to clients who are individuals, corporations, First
Nations, Aboriginal Governments and charitable entities. With a focus on building long lasting relationships with
clients, and their families or communities, PT ensures protection of their assets and careful management of their
financial or estate plans.
The Executive Trust Officer – Aboriginal Trust Services, acting as a senior expert in trust administration, manages
the largest and most complex accounts within the High New Worth client segment, while delivering legendary client
experience. Has an opportunity to work in a fast growing and very rewarding environment with other like minded
professionals.
This role includes building and maintaining long term relationships with Co-Trustees, Chiefs and Councils or other
aboriginal government structures as well as their financial and/or legal advisors. The role is also accountable for
promoting Aboriginal Trust capabilities to centres of influence and identifying further client needs or sales
opportunities from within the existing client base where possible. While the focus of this role is to manage
Aboriginal Trust accounts, this role may also be required (at Regional Trust Leaders discretion) to manage
traditional trust accounts.
This role reports into the Regional Trust Manager or the Trust Manager (depending on location).
Assigned region will require travel mainly within B.C., the Yukon and NWT.

• Ensure tax and administrative services provided by internal partners are carried out as required.
• Remain in contact with investment managers, and other professionals such as accountants and/or lawyers as
required.
• Ensure all new clients are welcomed in accordance with ATS policies and procedures
• Deliver high caliber professional presentations
• Be involved in the community and support TDBG charity and community initiatives
• Business Results & Operations:
• Support growth of the ATS book of business by acting as a specialist resource for Private Trust, Aboriginal
Trust Services.
• Actively manage a book of complex Aboriginal trust accounts
• Ensure trust administration is carried out in accordance with the Trust Agreement and all other governing
documents
• Ensure full understanding of ATS policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for referral to Wealth, PIC, Commercial and or Retail.
• Protect the interests and reputation of TDBG and our clients through proactive and continuous compliance with
industry regulations and TDBG/PT policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
• Anti-Money Laundering
• Product Policies
• PT Policies
• Integrate compliance activities into normal client interactions
• Ensure ongoing awareness and understanding of ATS policies and procedures
Development & Teamwork:
• Participate in all required training sessions
• Provide advice and guidance to other Trust professionals (including mentoring as well)
• Work collaboratively with all partners to achieve mutual goals
• Foster and contribute to a positive, inclusive and constructive work environment with a focus on supporting the
PT and PCG team
• Seek opportunities to gain further knowledge in all areas related to working with aboriginal communities
