Tools are helpful for layout. Human Interface Guidelines.
Guidelines “We have over 250,000 apps in the App Store. We
don't need any more Fart apps. If your app doesn't do
something useful or provide some form of lasting

Apps that include games of Russian roulette will be rejected

42. Steps
Step 4. Development
iOS SDK is used for creating iPad, iPhone and iPod
applications from an Intel based Mac computer.
based off of the Mac OS X
Proprietary architecture called Cocoa. Cocoa’s native
language is called Objective C, which is similar to C+
+
The development environment is based on Xcode
which uses the Objective-C programming.
Objective C doesn’t call methods, it sends messages. Unlike C+
+ these messages (methods) are handled at runtime. This
can result in fewer unhandled exceptions (errors). Uses new
Model View Controller methods.
43. Steps
OS SDK 4.1
Multiple layers: Cocoa Touch, Media, Core
Services and Core OS, allow you to program
or access different aspects of the device.
Core OS and Services allows you to access
files, network sockets and other interfaces
mainly coded in C.
Build the user interface? Interface Builder.
Helps developer to makes designing a user
interface – can drag and drop.
44. Why Free Apps

Step 5. Apple’s approval process. Creating
your certificates, App ID’s, create a
distribution provisioning profile, compile the
app and then upload to iTunes connect.
