6. REGISTRATION AND REMINDERS
The registration function on iPortal allows users to pre-register before the webcast,
which means registrants will receive calendar reminders leading up to the event,
improving the level of attendance. Registration fields in iPortal are fully customisable,
which is ideal for understanding user demographics, and will allow you to capture
valuable information to drive future campaigns.
VIDEO PLAYER – LIVE STREAMING OR ON DEMAND
The video player lets you stream live or on-demand videos, with a fully localised
and downloadable transcript below and a slide deck to the side. Users can watch
pre-scheduled videos or view them, at their own convenience.

7. LIVE CHAT FOR PEER-TO-PEER INTERACTION
The live chat facility gives webcast attendees the ability to engage with other viewers
and ask live questions to support or sales teams. Attendees are able to chat during
and after, allowing new opinions and discussions to be explored, recorded and reported
on. It is possible to track each user’s interaction throughout iPortal, allowing you to
ascertain the activity and topics they are most interested in.
The iPortal administrator is able to moderate and chat directly with registrants, which
allows you to steer chat conversation and discussion by directing specific questions
to your users or chatting with them in real time, or you can facilitate ‘ask the expert’
sessions in real time.

8. INTERACTIVE AND DYNAMIC POLLS
The poll feature enables you to schedule questions to your users that appear at
specific times throughout an event, allowing you to see which topics are the most
influential and drive future campaigns based on the research collected. Users are able
to instantly view and compare their answers to poll questions against other registrants’
once they have responded.
Responses gathered through poll results are displayed in the dashboard, and can also
be exported to a spreadsheet to help segment your registrants into specialised groups,
and target them according to their interests and personal needs.

9. DOWNLOADABLE RESOURCES
The resources function allows you to share assets with your webcast registrants.
Each user can download and keep a personal library of resources, allowing you to share
information and track which of your assets are the most popular. Resources can be
personalised for certain regions, so time-zone differences will never be an issue.
DYNAMIC REPORTING DASHBOARD
The iPortal dashboard collects intelligent data from various areas of iPortal, including
registration fields, resource downloads, poll answers and live-chat responses. The data
collected through the dashboard is clearly represented in dynamic graphs that enable
you to gather highly digestible user information that can be easily exported
to a spreadsheet.
