Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, testing, trial operations and close-out services, especially for On shore
Oil & Gas, with associated utilities - Pipeline / Flow lines Construction services, Wellhead Hook-up, Manifolds,
Headers etc., Execution of oil and gas gathering facilities / systems, Central Compression Unit (A gas separation unit,
A gas lift compression station, A booster gas compression, Utilities, Interconnecting pipelines) Power Plant, Electrical
OHL, E&I network, Civil Works, Up gradation / Modification of existing facilities, Field Developments, Infrastructure
Developments / Utility / Automation facilities etc. in Project / Construction Management, HSE & Q operations etc.
Key role:
To report directly to Construction / Project Director OR CEO with regard to all onshore construction activities
 Effective Management of all Site Construction HSE activities.
 Knowledge of and application of Company Core Values and Client Safety Rules
 To develop multi-layer construction capability for a range of different job sizes
 To ensure effective and efficient preparation and onshore implementation of all Green / Brown field
construction work.
 Maintain active coordination and communication between project teams, contractors and client.
 To liaise and manage all onshore construction interfaces, including commissioning.
 Manage multi-discipline engineering teams for Construction Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning
Principal Responsibilities:
 Safety leadership by personal example including site onshore visits etc
 Management of the construction, implementation and pre-commissioning teams
 Management of the interfaces between implementation group and other disciplines, particularly engineering
and fabrication contractors / vendors.
 Progress, cost and schedule reporting for construction phases of the work
 Liaison with HR / Recruitment to establish and maintain a high grade Construction teams

 Liaison with Site Management and Operations Teams
 Liaison with key vendors and service providers
 Effective preparation for and completion of Onshore work scopes
 Maintenance of project change management processes / records
 Accountable for the overall contract construction effort and commissioning strategy; including safety, planning,
cost and delivery of all field works on the Contract
 Accountable for supervising, organising and co-ordinating office, onshore construction and commissioning
teams to provide adequate support in accordance with the Contract.
 Responsible for ensuring full construction integration to project delivery by encouraging regular engineering,
procurement and construction interface meetings
 Ensure work pack and material delivery aligns with construction mobilisation
 Provide construction expertise during FEED, Detail Design, in the form of constructability reviews, scope
minimisation and ensuring safest and most efficient construction methods adopted
 Actively engages with the organisation to ensure seamless delivery:
 Engages with individual project teams to ensure correct level and sequence of Work Breakdown Structure
adopted at project kick off.
 Adhere to and promote Company policies and procedures to Construction / Commissioning teams at all times.

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, (Passed in June 1980, with First Division)
2. A Course in PERT / CPM, by The Institution of Engineers (India).

Presently working with M/S. Qatar Solar Technologies (QSTec) as a Construction Manager, who are setting up a
Polysilicon manufacturing unit, having plant capacity, Train - 1, 3600 MTPY & extension to 7200 MTPY. The main
production unit & their components in complex are including production unit, water treatment plant & disposal unit,
utility units, facilities etc. as required.
Here, mainly responsible to monitor & evaluate the suitability the work being represented by contractor as completed
for the purpose of mechanical completion as the predecessor for the start of pre-commissioning & commissioning
works.
Construction Manager (Oil & Gas)
Masarco (TOTAL E & P), YEMEN
September 2006 – December 2014 (8 years 3 months)
Spearheading construction activities for Pipeline / Flow lines Construction services, Well Hook-up, Manifolds, Headers
etc., Execution of the wellhead, Hook-ups, oil and gas gathering facilities / systems, Central Compression Unit &
associated utilities (A gas separation unit, A gas lift compression station, A booster gas compression, power plant,
Utilities, Interconnecting pipelines, E&I network, Modification of existing facilities etc.) for this multi billion $ hydro
carbon project), including testing and commissioning, Temporary Gas Compression Project, Onshore Gas Processing
Facility and relevant infrastructure, misc. construction / maintenance activities in CPU, CCU, and GTU in coordination
with TOTAL E & P Yemen.
Managing construction of Greenfield and Brownfield surface facilities including upgrades and expansions to
existing facilities as well as overseeing abandonment of facilities and pipelines.

attention paid to HSE & quality matters, new appraisal and production pads, access roads, Central Processing
Facilities extension, water injection, oil & gas export pipelines, new operation camp, etc. as per the Off Plot Delivery
contract C31/0604 in order to support its exploration, development and operational activities in South of Oman, for
multi-discipline contracting firm with over US$200 million in annual revenues and over 6,000 employees.

Managed all aspects of fine agrochemical pesticides manufacturing unit, Chemical unit, Ethanol unit & other chemical
units, 110, 80 Ton/Hr steam boiler / TG units & other auxiliaries etc. including all civil building works, internal roads
and their associated electrical / instrumentation works, utility, and infrastructure construction projects for multi-
discipline contracting firm with over US$80 million in revenues and over 1,200 employees. Served as internal
consultant for Managing Director on tender analysis, planning, and risk assessment.
