Martin Luther King Jr. was an American civil rights leader born in 1929 who fought against racial segregation and injustice. He was a Baptist minister and led the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in organizing nonviolent protests, campaigns, and marches for civil rights including the Birmingham campaign and March on Washington. King delivered his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech in 1963 calling for racial equality and integration. He was assassinated in 1968 but his message of nonviolent protest and pursuit of justice and equality continues to inspire.

We choose him because of all the effort and things he did for the
African Americans.
He put an end to Racism in United States of America.
He inspirited people to fight for their rights and never give up.
He is an example to follow
The most important, because he never stayed quieted and he
never give up.
3. HIS LIFE
Martin Luther King, Jr. was born in January 15, 1929 and died in April 4, 1968.
He was an American pastor, activist, humanitarian, and leader in the African-
American Civil Rights Movement.
His name was Michael King, until his father changed his name in honor of
the German reformer Martin Luther.

4. WHY HE FOUGHT
He fought for his family, actually something that King admired was his dad. His dad told him
something that he took it so important that he mentioned it on his speech.
"he would make something of him even if he had to beat him to death."
He fought because of all the injustice that the USA had with the Africans Americans in that
time.
In those times they couldn't have a good quality of life like the whites had.
They couldn't get opportunities in life, like good jobs or a good salary.
5. HOW HE FOUGHT
King succeed because of all the campaigns and conferences.
The first conference and group King did was the Southern Christian Leadership
Conference, this one was created in 1957. The group was created to harness
the moral authority and organizing power of black churches to conduct non-violent
protests in the service of civil rights reform.
The Albany Movement - was a desegregation coalition formed in Albany,
Georgia in November 1961. In December, King and the SCLC became involved.
The movement mobilized thousands of citizens for a broad-front nonviolent attack
6. HOW HE FOUGHT
Birmingham campaign - In April 1963, the SCLC began a campaign against
racial segregation and economic injustice in Birmingham, Alabama. The
campaign used nonviolent but intentionally confrontational tactics.
Poor People's Campaign - In 1968, King and the SCLC organized the "Poor
People's Campaign" to address issues of economic justice.

Dream".

9. CONCLUSION
To conclude our presentation we want to say that Martin Luther King showed
us that everything can be done, even the biggest challenge. He fought for a
fair life, for a equal life, but the best part is that he didn't do it for himself , he
do it for all the African Americans who couldn't had an opportunity, but with the
difference that King did now everyone has the same opportunities.
King never give up, he fought for an equal life.
We remember him because of all the effort he made to make U.S.A equal, but
we remember him too because……..
