visit to farmer plot based on calendar.

To train Scientists on ‘CABS’ android tablet application on behalf of Cornell University,

forecasting, seed production, processing and distribution.
COTS essentially works as centralized Information repository for all functions and
departments, thus ensures management accuracy in tracking Production and delivery of seed
varieties, hybrids and transgenic seeds. It covers the complete process raging from intake to
gravity separation, chemical treatment to packaging and distribution.
COTS application effectively mines the data and helps organizations to generate reports for
regulatory compliance, demand forecast and Inventory tracking will help management to take

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Cane Rest Service is a Restful Webservice (Jersey impl.) which provides services to Android
applications in JSON format. Several android applications allow the users to record the sugar
factory activities like grower information, plot area and crop condition in different seasons. All
these applications download the initial database from Webservice and allow the user to work in
no signal areas. There are several stages in cane management like Indenting, Planting, FMB,
Field Survey, Pest & Disease, Cane Diversion, Seed Retention and Cane Weighment at
Centers.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Smart Weighment is automatic weighment system in Sugar cane factories, which deals with
some external hardware components. Primary input for this application is Weighbridge which
is connected to system through COM port. Depends upon weighbridge readings application
operates the traffic signals, boom barriers through control box (connected through another
COM port) and announces the appropriate message. Grower shows the bar code card to bar-
code scanner(connected through USB) which is issued at entry of factory gate through
android tablet and confirms the weight(by pressing PUSH button connected through control
box) after system plays the bar-code details(purchy no.). System will record the gross and tare
weights in different stages depends upon card status, capture the picture (IP camera), print
the slip (POS printer), and operates signals to control the vehicles movement.
RESPONSIBILITIES  Calculate and implement functional, integration, performance and stress tests.
 Debug issues and conduct non-systematic testing to identify root cause of issues like
dead locks in smart weighment business process.
 Prioritize and implement multiple activities in parallel.
 Engage in peer reviews, requirements, static code, design and test.
 Design test scenarios and test cases and be self-motivated to learn new areas.
 Work with Business Analysts to determine and prioritize execution scenarios.
 Set up suitable application test coverage requirements according to weighbridge.

GSM phones with different Interactive Services where we test & maintain database and the
various applications associated with it.
Static IVR’s:
IVRS (Interactive Voice Response Systems) use voice recorded prompts and menus to
present information to callers. Touch-tone telephone keypad entries are gathered from the
caller to collect information and to provide user navigation. Information is delivered to the caller
using text to speech or pre-recorded responses.

Primary input for this application is Weighbridge which is connected to system through COM port. Depends upon weighbridge readings application operates the traffic signals, boom barriers through control box (connected through another COM port) and announces the appropriate message. Grower shows the bar code card to bar- code scanner(connected through USB) which is issued at entry of factory gate through android tablet and confirms the weight(by pressing PUSH button connected through control box) after system plays the bar-code details(purchy no.). System will record the gross and tare weights in different stages depends upon card status, capture the picture (IP camera), print the slip (POS printer), and operates signals to control the vehicles movement.
