What actually is a pitch ?


Pitch is a brief overview of a
    product, service, person,
     group / organization or
  project and is often a part
           of a fundraising or
   marketing action or other
  program. Usually is an oral
      presentation using PPT

An elevator pitch is often used by an
   entrepreneur, pitching an idea to a venture
  capitalist or angel investor to receive funding




   Venture capitalists often judge the quality of
    an idea by the quality of its elevator pitch

Basic pitching guidelines - 1

• Build a good story
• Present your problem well
• Show execution
• Scale up the whole thing
• Show community building
• Differentiate a lot !

• 10-15 slides max
• Use a lot of graphs
• Practice a lot using video
• Have positive energy & passion
• Always get prepared for hard questions
• Don’t look at or read from your slides
• Look always towards your investors
