13. DON’T always use redirects as a solution to pass link value. Embedded text links can pass link juice where you want it as well. IMO, not as powerful as a redirect though. Example: Resource Hook
14. There can be some link value lost in 301 redirects. It’s best that link sources are point towards the source of the content, not a redirect to the source of the content.
